A very solid hostel. Centrally located about a 5 minute walk to the old town and next to a very nice department/grocery store if self-catering is your thing. Staff is friendly and prompt, and gives good suggestions about what to do while in Bratislava. Common room is relaxed and comfy. Kitchen is clean, as is everything in it. Rooms have a nice view of the square the hostel over looks. Beds are comfortable. Rooms are clean, but no hand towels in the bath-room for washing your hands.

Hostel Blues was a nice hostel. With the staff it was a bit hit or miss though. When we were checking in the guy just tried to rush us though I thought but when leaving we got a women who was very friendly. I would probably stay here again though.

Hostel Blues is a perfectly fine hostel and I had no complaints whilst I was there. Has all of the facilities that you would need while backpacking, in a reasonably central location.

There some apartments with 3 rooms in each (all of them have different names Moscow, London, Amsterdam and etc. Great location, super friendly staff. One advice don't visit Bratislava restoran (when we were there food was too much salt and slightly burnt), but we like food in Slovak pub, althought owner for both places the same men

Mere words do not describe the level of satisfaction that I felt upon leaving the Hostel Blues. Between the kind staff (Jano, Helene and Oscar, in particular) and cozy atmosphere, I would have stayed for months if I could. I urge anyone who hasn't been to Bratislava to visit, and if you are staying in a hostel, there is no where better than hostel blues.

Staff were excellent and the hostel had a cool blues band play at the bar one night. There was an awesome free cooking class another night and the location is perfect. Couldn't ask for more.

Everything is within my expectation. But I don't like the fact my roommates brought guests back to hostel after partying and they slept together, you know what I mean. Would have been better if there is some policy detering big groups.

Stayed one night in 5-bed dorm. Was nice experience. Kitchen/ facilities are so nice that you can store/cook/eat there. There are computers to use in the lobby. Very good location, about 5-10 mins to walk to old city. Also near the bus stops from/to the Hlavna Stacni (main train station). Very close to Lidl. Good chance to interact with people. 24 h reception is just great. If you like staying in dorm type of rooms, it is 9/10.

Best hostel I've ever been. Very clean, comfortable and staff more than kind and helpful. The location is excellent, you can do everything walking only five or ten minutes. The atmosphere in this hostel is great. I definitely recommend it.
