A completely different experience, a hostel boat. The breakfast was very nice also. Rooms smalls but enough just to sleep. 10 min by foot from the city center.

A novel idea staying on a boat for the night. Staff very welcoming and informative. Facilities basic but clean and tidy. If you don't like dogs then this is not for you...personally I love them, and they added to the security of the vessel. The boat was a little bit on the cold side during the night, but that's not surprising considering it's November... For a bit of something different, this is a great place to stay.....

A good idea, but badly executed. The idea of a hostel boat in Rotterdam is good. The boat has a lot of character. But there are a lot of flaws. Some things, like very small rooms and narrow beds, youd expect on a boat. But other things can be improved. The rooms are dirty, the mattresses are about 5cm thick & old, so are very uncomfortable, the breakfast was bread, peanut butter and instant coffee. Staff werent so friendly. So instead of a great experience, youll leave tired, hungry & dirty!

That guy was really strange. Really cold treatment and he actually kind of scared me.

I am okay with the stay, but I am not keen on the shared bathroom and the wc they have=[

After reading mixed reviews, I was surprised to find it was quaint and as i would have hoped - a boat with character. A woman slept in my four-bed male dorm which i was uncomfortable with and i thought the boat owner should have mentioned this as I did not want to share a room with females. I had clearly booked a male dorm. The room was also VERY hot. But that aside, it had a lot of character and i enjoyed the experience.

Life at see seems to be hard, as the guy on the front desk was really rough. Otherwise a special way to stay in a city with a large harbour.
