This hostel is like a old flat, in which each room has been available to stay there! It is a old flat or apartment so the bathroom was quite old, and not totally clean. The room was grotty and the floor carpet was not very clean. The staff was really friendly, and thay also suggest to us some restaurants in the city like "U betlemske kaple" and "U Medvidku" which were absolutely great!! The location is perfect just a few meters of Carlos bridge.

The beds were very uncomfortable and small. If you are over 6 feet you might be too big for the bed. The wifi connection was not good. Awesome location, helpful staff with great recommendations. Very quiet at night.

I think that the lower floor of the hostel (were rooms 6,7,8,9 are located) should be improved. It's really anonymous. It could be even some paiting or pictures on the walls...it doesn't look at all an hostel. It looks more an apartment in which rooms are rented. Please take more attention to cleanliness expecially of the bathroom and rooms.

Everything is fine there now. WiFi signal is a bit low, but who needs internet in wonderful Prague. (Saw some comments about problems with hot water, it's not true now in 2013, they upgraded the boiler)

Everything perfect; except that the beds were unconfortable and there were many stairs to reach the hostel.

Good familiar hostel on the BEST location in Prague, 3 minute walk from Charles Bridge. We were very well received by the owners, that showed us everything on a map as soon as we arrived. The bathroom is shared, but we did not have any problems with too many people using it at the same time. The big con was not having staff at the hostel at all times, which sometimes was terrible if we wanted to solve something quick.

Great location, walking distance to nearly everywhere, friendly and helpful staff!! Although the bathrooms and rooms (at least the one we stayed in) could use some new furniture and a make-over here and there. BUT we stayed in a double room for 16 Euros pP, which is an absolutely amazing price especially for the great location!! All in all, I would recommend the hostel to anyone whose priority isn't cleanliness and up to date furniture but good atmosphere and great location!!

We had a lovely stay at hostel bridge, it's in a really nice location that makes almost every part of Prague easily reachable on foot and all the guests were so respectful of one another it honestly felt like we were the only people staying there half the time. The best thing about hostel bridge are the staff though, amazingly helpful with their advice & recommendations, so welcoming on arrival & such a friendly bunch, we felt like the first thing we'd done in Prague was make new friends!

The room was cold. We asked for heater and the staff gave us one but it wasn't so good. They had the heating system on but i don't know why in our room sometimes were working and others no .. The major problem was the shower...the water were warm for 30seconds and then started to come cold. if you close the water and then reopen we got 30s more of warm water. But this problem still since last year. About the rest nothing to say...staff were awesome with good tips to save money, security was 5*

I would recommend this place to backpackers, not to those with luggage (many stairs). Location is unbeatable and the owner and staff are friendly, fair and helpful. Room and shared facilities were adequate. There is a laundry machine complete with detergent available for use at no charge. The downside is an uncomfortable bed and the indoor smoking. When the staff smoke in the common area and place ashtrays on the common table it is difficult to ask your fellow travelers not to smoke.

A lovely place to stay. this hostel has an amazing central location and offered free tee and coffee in the room which was a great touch as we were there in Winter. The only problem was that the rooms were not sufficiently heated for Winter and we were constantly cold. Otherwise i would highly recommend this place!

NIce stay, very good location, just next to the Charle's bridge, which is nice, because you are in the center but on the other hand everything around is so turistic and expensive... Room was big, not very luxurious but good for that price. Problem is that kitchen was on a different floor so there were many steps all the time to climb. And in the building, in the stairwell something smells badly....:) However, very nice staff and location made our stay quite pleasent and trouble-free.

I would like to point out the absolute freedom we had over our stay there. The gave us the keys and it was like being at our home. Coffee, tea, towels included. Just 30 seconds from Charles Bridge Only 2 "weak points": the Wi-Fi signal was very poor in the room downstairs, and some difficulty to find the hostel, considering you have to go through a restaurant to get access to it. No signs outside, or at least I didn't see any. Nevertheless, I absolutely recommend this hostel.
