I found it very easy to get to and find this hostel. It is across from the big Buffalo sign. There's a free tram nearby that goes between city center and within a block of the hostel. The staff were very friendly and helpful, they seem to know their city and really care about it. The massive Room that didn't really seem like a dorm with that many beds as there was a diving wall. Clean and comfortable room, nice hot showers. The only downside for me was the check in hours.

Very nice hostel with with two great lounges that are worth spending one or two extra days in buffalo just to make use of them. Very friendly and helpful staff. The hostel has a great location in buffalo right in the center of the theater district. The only disadvantage is that it takes an hour to get to Niagara Falls by bus, although the single fare is only 2 dollars. The showers need a bit of a fix up but other than that the hostel was in good condition.

It was a great place to stay. The staff was friendly and accommodating and it was walking distance to place to eat and the venue that I was going to see a show at.

Wooden beds always make quite some noise when moving in them. Shower facilities are standard, but not dirty.

Very nice place but the streets of Buffalo do not seem very safe. There is a club across the street and the music was very loud but with earplugs it was ok. The atmosphere was very nice.

Buffalo was a dump, but the hostel certainly wasn't. Cheap, comfy, nice staff and one of the best beds I've slept in in a hostel hands-down.

Great hostel! I stopped in Buffalo for a couple days to see a close friend, and was glad to find such a great place virtually right downtown. Up the block from the Chippewa Street entertainment district, and for the safety minded, literally on the same block as a Buffalo Police precinct. My only regret is that I was only here for a single night.

The hostel was really quiet when we where there. The kitchen is really good but the showers only had curtains which didn't give much privacy. If you stay a minute passed the check out even just a few hours to wait in the lounge for your connection you have to pay for a day pass. I

Look, buffalo is not the most exciting city in the world but the hostel.is definately better than buffalo. Clean and well located. You can take a bus straight to niagara. However staff not always at desk and only available at certain times.

Stopped here while driving from the Michigan to Boston. Very nice, clean hostel with comfortable common areas, many outlets, a big kitchen, and working wifi. Buffalo isn't many peoples' destination city (as evidenced by the sparely populated rooms in mid-July), but the hostel is located in the heart of the theater district with a number of restaurants, bars, and coffee shops nearby. Overall a good experience if you're a young person in the region and need a place to crash. I'll likely be back.

One of the best hostels I have ever stayed in!! Great location, friendly and incredibly helpful staff, and very clean. I wish we would have been able to stay more than one night.
