I only booked a room for 2 nights to see the Niagara Falls, but the hostel is great. It's very clean and in a good location. It's easy to get to the bus station, where you can catch a bus to the Falls. The staff was very friendly, welcoming and helpful. There is a great café nearby to where you can enjoy a good breakfast. There is construction work in front of it right now though so you cannot drive to the front with a car. The elevator inside is awesome when you have lots of luggage!

Nice place in a perfect location downtown close to the bus terminal. There's a nice common room with kitchen and an elevator so you wouldn't have to carry all your luggage up the stairs. Since Buffalo is not a major tourist destination such as NY it is pretty quiet inside the hostel which makes it perfect to relax.

Cool hostel, clean, very friendly staff, I love the atmosphere there. Several possibilities to stay, very comfortable living room! Good location. The shared bathroom was not soooo good, but I would stay there again :)

The staff is great, as well as the facilities. In the center of the town, and near concert and theater buildings. Geocachers friendly hostel, since you can get the Seaway Trail Geocaching passport there.

Nice place, and located next to free tram line, but quiet time of year so not many people about. Would stay there again if I went back to buffalo.

It was wonderful, the hostel staff were exceptionally helpful, the location is stratigically situated near the local bus lines and the train, which is free in the downtown area. The hostel is located right across from the famous Shea Theater District and the Irish Community Theater is less than a block away...For those that like history, the Buffalo History Museum is also within walking distance....

The Buffalo, NY Hostel was fun and a breath of fresh air socially, from the stodgy overpriced hotels and motels of this overpriced ( due to Niagra Falls) hotel city. The staff were fun and helpful, and the people were interesting and varied. Bunks were perfectly alright to sleep in, and I felt enhanced from my 4 or 5 days of interaction here.

This hostel was nice. However, the staff is only there in the morning and at night. There is no number to call if you arrive in the afternoon. It was convenient to take a bus to the airport and close to the bus station.

The hostel is nice but the problem is some customers in winter are homeless people. So you may have to share your room with one of them. And if you're a men you should go for the mix dorm because the man dorm has a realy loud AC and the room is just next to the train station so sleeping could be realy hard.

This is the best hostel I have ever lived. A nice historic building and very friendly staff. I cant help missing this hostel when I was leaving Buffalo. The kitchen and the lounge are designed well which let you feel like at home. Of course the free coffee and tea are very helpful for you when you have nothing to do and need a rest in the cold days. Thanks Buffalo hostel, giving me a pretty unforgettable experience.
