Incredibly overpriced hostel. Rooms felt like prison cells, and had no a/c, laundry, free internet or cable TV as advertised and ceiling fan sounded louder than a helicopter. Only good thing is it´s near bus station..

Not a bad place to spend a night before/after the Pantanal. No real social scene, though I can't imagine who comes here for that. Pool and breakfast are nice. The tour company associated with the hostel seems to tell you anything you want to hear about the Pantanal, but whether you stay in the lodge or at the campsite, you will be in a large group. They forgot to pick a couple of people up at the airport, and never booked my reservations in Bonito as they said they would.

Friendly service and good if biased information. I went with their program to the Pantanal and found it good and the food better than experienced on a similar junket out of Cuiaba which was very much more expensive. Three times dearer. Sure, the pressure is high to buy their excursion but the guides working their Fazenda Santa Clara were excellent. BTW, CG stinks as a town.

Rooms are nice enough, not a very sociable hostel though. The tour company next door for Pantanal tours is good and would be the main reason to go to the hostel (you get a free night´s stay and internet if you book through Ecological Tours).

Perfect for staying one night! Right next to the Rodoviaria so easy to find after a long busride and easy to leave the next day for a trip to the Pantanal or Bonito!

It is one of the worstest places I have already stayed. I had a book in my name and arrived at 23:40 in the evenning, BUT, they did NOT have rooms available anymore! They do NOT pay half of the taxi's bill as they say in their webpage...and they do not worry about anything concerning those kind of things! I really do NOT recommend.
