An excellent hostel in a beautiful town. Mostly private rooms and loads of nice touches - such as charge points within security lockers. Room and bathrooms immaculately clean. Staff friendly and informative.
Great hostel, nice stay. Martel was very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Hostel was very quiet when we were there hence the average score for atmosphere. Having said that, when this place fills up I'd love to be there - great roof terrace with barbecue pit, well equipped kitchen, bar downstairs. I will head straight for this place next time i'm in Otavalo. I hope I get a chance soon...
Excellent. Nice town and lovely square. Try the self guided walk. Large, clean rooms. Good kitchen, WiFi and general vibe. Little cafe in the foyer. Great choice. Beware of the viewpoint overlooking the town with the man and horse monument. I visited at 1:30PM having been told it was safe and it is on the walking tour. A youth discreetly showed a knife and demanded my phone. I walked away from him and he just wandered off. The Police were apathetic and smiled dumbly.
A lovely and quiet place, just like the city. We appreciated the well equiped kitchen.
The hostel is very nice. The people who work there are friendly, the place is clean, the kitchen is nice and open, and the staff is friendly. Its a mellow place, like Popayan and they will help you with organizing what to do in the area or your next place in Colombia. People are friendly, but its not a party place.
No breakfast/only coffee with only sugar but no milk.
A great stay made better by your friendly and very helpful staff. Thank you
We only stayed here for a couple of nights on our way down to the Ecuadorian border. They had messed up our booking so had already given out the two beds in the dorm that we had booked but they gave us a private double for no extra charge which was good, and it was a nice room. From what I could see of the dorm rooms they looked pretty good too. It had a good kitchen. We were actually able to make a dinner there ourselves very easily. But it wasn't really a place for meeting people.
