Hostel Casa del Angel Reviews

Got moved to another hostel which was terrible, did not get the private bathroom we booked. Only stayed 1 night after booking 3 nights. Happy to be out of the place!

The hostel is in a charming old building next to the university. The staff are really friendly, and even if they don't have a good command of English they strive to understand the lodger's needs. That being said there is only 1 female bathroom and 1 male bathroom between the whole place, and even though it didn't affect me as the hostel was quite empty, it might affect others. However, at this price this hostel is great value.

old and not fix anything, not hot water for shower. wood locker poor security. now is low season not so many backpackers there or otherwise more than 10 persons need to use one bathroom is crazy!

I went this place expecting something different, in the past reviews i read about fouling problems, but haven't seen any, i stayed in the private two bed with bathroom and the room was incredibly huge, has a balcony, living room and TV, in any of the hostels i've stayed before have seen a private like this, loved it.

It is perfect for a 1 or 2 nights to discover Guanajuato and just to have a place to crash.

Our room was really big and spacious. We had a balcony and our own bathroom. A fault of the room would be three broken windows letting mozies in, and the room could have done with a slightly better clean. Staff were very friendly, breakfast very basic. Overall, it is value for money.
