Great location, short walk to stylish , beautiful main plaza and cathedral. So many amazing churches in this city. Fabulous light show projected on facade of the church at 8.30pm, part of the festival. Loads of free events this month . Lovely hostel, friendly , very helpful staff and handy they spoke English .interesting trip on local buses to Chulola. Could have stayed longer than one night. Highly recommend this clean, well run hostel.

I stayed in the mixed dorm, though when I was there in mid-April, some nights had one other guy and the other nights there were two guys. Ensuite bathroom/shower has two toilets and two showers which could make it a little busy if the dorm is full, and there isn't much room in there, but veteran backpackers will manage okay. The wifi doesn't work in that part of the building, so you have to sit downstairs, which is a perfectly nice place to hang out but it isn't your room. Otherwise, fine place.

The 12 beds mixte dorm is in front of a busy road, noisy during the day and in the early morning; downstairs there is a taco shop that sometimes smell of fried oil.The other rooms are around the patio and are quieter. There is a kitchen but it's use is not promoted, especially in the morning.

Good location, friendly staff! The only thing I didn't like was the only window we had in our private room, had a view to a dorm room. So everytime someone put on the light in this dorm, we saw all the light in our room. Bathroom is really small, and after a 5 minutes shower it looks like you're in a swimming pool...

The setting and layout of this hostel is but but when I was there didn't feel like a place where you could meet people that easily as none really uses the common area.

good hostel. good location. overall good, the guy at the front counter didn´t seem to have many recommendations on where to go to eat though but was definitely friendly enough.

The location is absolutely amazing - very close to the historical center. Staff was nice and very helpful from the first moment (knowledgeable about the town, too). The rooms are nice and their high ceiling, at least on the ground floor, are great (although it's true that the bathroom/toilet area is extremely small; but the sinks are really pretty). The common area in the middle is pretty great. It's great for the price, I'd recommend it!

We had a great stay! We chose to almost fill up the girls dorm with our little group. It was very close to the Zocalo and they organized trips to Cholula. The staff was friendly and very helpful! Our room was clean and the only thing that could have been better was the bathroom was peeling and a little bit worn. Other than that, this is a great place to stay!

I agree with the last guy. A great place to stay. For one night (or two). But it's basically a hotel, no vibe.

I thought the lockers were a little small. Also, I wish they could've provided some way to charge cell phones and the like securely. It's not always practical to remain by your phone while it charges. Maybe they could put an outlet strip behind the front desk, so the attendant could watch them while they charged. Note: no hostel I've seen anywhere does this, but it's a recommendation of mine. You could even charge a little for the service.

A hotel with dorm room(s) in the very center of Puebla. Location is unbeatable, staff´s helpful, but there´s completely no vibe as it is basically a hotel, not a hostel. My bed was cozy, there are lockers in the room. Showers and bathroom could be much cleaner though. Generally a good place to stay for not more than 1 night.

Great location, very nice staff. Ask for one of the newly renovated rooms, much nicer, almost like a hotel room.
