I have never had to spend a night before in such conditions. The room was unbelievably hot and the air con was essentially non existent. Aside from that, the hostel itself was decent.

Fantastic wifi and comfortable beds. The air-con's in the room don't really help much and the staff could be a bit rude sometimes. They promote a very 'party party party' atmosphere so don't go if you're looking for just a bit of peace and quiet. It is a bit far down on the strip but there is a bus that drives you up. The kitchen is tiny so it's hard to cook your own meals and the common rooms were very small also. Then again it's very cheap so that's a plus!

One of my favourite hostels that I've stayed in so far. Everything was super relaxed and the people were amazing. The only thing I would mark it down on however was the area. I really didn't feel safe on my own at night as there were loads of crazies around and I heard stories of people being followed and I personally was shouted at. There is a bus stop right next to the hostel though and it's only $8 for a 24 hour pass so I just did this to go down to the strip. Highly recommended.

This hostel is nice, I really had a good time there. It is not very near of the attractions but It does not matter, we can walk easy from there to reach Stratosphere and then the other hotels. If I come back to Las Vegas I will go to hostel Cat again. It was my first time preparing the pancakes and it was really nice, I really enjoyed to stay there. Thanks for the tips as well!. Marisa

The rooms can be quite hot at night, but it's Vegas Vegas and you probably won't be sleeping much! Great atmosphere, really social hostel with lots going on including limo trips and nights out to the Fremont Experience. Will definitely go back if I'm ever in Vegas again.

I went with a friend and we stayed for three days. The price was very good and we really liked the location, not very far from the strip and just 10 minutes walk to downtown, which was nice. The staff was very friendly and they helped us with all we needed. Deffinitely a nice place to stay in Vegas.

The area was a little sketchy... it seemed like there were a lot of homeless people around the area. It is really close to Freemont street though and is near a Deuce Bus stop that gives you direct access to the rest of the Strip and Freemont Street.

Great Hostel one of the best I've been to and I have to a lot. If I come back to Vegas I will stay here. Clean and the activities were fun and entertaining. If u want to party and meet great people in Vegas you must stay here. Staff were wonderful.

A good value for my money. The staff however, was not very friendly and welcoming. I was treated like a number. Facilities were poor as well, for instance, they charged me a lot for just printing some papers. The dorms were bad and way to warm for the Vegas climate. But of you don't want to sleep in the dorms, don't want to pay too much and just want to meet young people, this hostel might be interesting for you

I really enjoyed my stay at Cat Hostel. The events they organize are lots of fun and there is something going on every evening. The staff is nice, there is food for 5 dollars almost every evening if you are too lazy to cook yourself. The location is a bit far, you have to walk about 15 minutes and it might be quite hot during the day. The yard is a nice place to hang out, some hammocks or bag chairs might be an excellent addition. All good, totally recommend to stay here wheyou are in Las Vegas.

Really good for the money you pay. A bit of a walk to the strip but the bus is only moments away and you can get a 24hr pass for 8$. Bedrooms were clean and the staff always had stuff going on. Would stay there again

Very sociable spot, cheapest in Vegas. Bus makes things easy enough to get around. Simple kitchen. Top pick if you are traveling alone and keen to party or just want to sleep as cheap as you can.

A great hostel to stay and enjoy Las Vegas for a cheap price. The accomodation is not very fresh, but very well located and the patio is a good place to hang out. Better than a hotel in many way, since the staff is helpful and brings you to the right places in Vegas.
