Hostel Cat Reviews

Since I was travelling alone, I decided to stay at one of the few hostels in Las Vegas to meet other travellers. Although the hostel is not directly on the strip, it is an easy 10min-bus ride to the strip and within walking distance to the downtown/Freemont area (which would be very far when staying on the strip). I loved the atmosphere at Cat Hostel, since it feels very secure/homey and an inner courtyard just invites everyone to hang out & meet people - and so I did! Great hostel, great stay!

This hostel is by far the best and i have travelled europe, south east asia and austailia. the staff are what makes this place so special, the hostel is clean, its on the las vegas blvd the bus stop is right outside it going to downtown and the vegas strip which makes its location spot on. The manager gets involved and is so friendly he could not ask for better staff that work in the hostel. I felt like it was a large family living under the same roof. I enjoyed every aspect of my stay.

MY FEELINGS ARE MIXED. I ENJOYED THE FELLOW TRAVELERS. I DID NOT LIKE THE FACT THAT I HAD RESERVED FOR SIX DAYS, BUT WHEN I ARRIVED I TOOK OFF ONE DAY FOR A TOTAL OF FIVE DAYS AND YET THE MANAGEMENT CHARGED ME THE FULL AMOUNT. ALSO I DID NOT LIKE THE FACT THAT AFTER ONE DAY OF STAYING THERE, THEY MADE ME MOVE TO ANOTHER ROOM WHICH WAS NOISY, WHILE MY PREVIOUS ROOM WAS QUIET.

The hostel is located in the middle of the the old & new strip (20:25 minutes walking), free breakfast of pancake which is good. It\'s a good place to create friendship, their night activities are ok but could be much better.

Very good hostel! Great for meeting people in Vegas , specially when traveling solo. Very clean and safe too.

Not necessarily in the best location safety wise since it's right next to an adult store but very clean and great value!

What i liked about this hostel is the atmosphire as the people there are there only to party and have fun, at the end this is Vegas !!

Good staff/chilled, drinking at hostel every day/nights out on fremont or the strip every night!! clean! no curfew! good social drinking area outside

Hostel Cat was the perfect party place for Las Vegas! Everyone was super nice and always keen for a chat/drink/party! It's on the strip and there is a bus stop outside which you can catch all the way down! And it's 24/7!!

I had a gerat time @ hostel Cat. There is defenetly no place that could be compared to this hostel. The staff was allways helpfull und every night they organised tours to bars an clubs, limo tours, drinking games,... (spacial thanks to adam and hush ;-) ) The rooms were allwas clean ( cleand every day). The hostel is located between freemont street (15 min) an the strip (10 min to the stratosphere, that is the first hotel). Very easy to meet people, i had an amazing time and will return there...

I loved staying at the Cat Hostel! It made my trip to Vegas all the better because of tours they ran and the the staff were great!

The Hostel was awesome. The staff are sooo very nice. Parties and tours are amazing. The Limo-tour on Saturdays are excellent. I loved it to stay there. I spent 4 nights, way too short. I wanted to stay longer but i couldn't because my schedules are busy. Very nice people to meeting there. I definitly come back to the ... HOSTEL- CAT... :-)

Hostel Cat is AWESOME! My friend and I spent just one night there and had an amazing time (it was actually too short!). We spend a crazy Vegas night thanks to the boss and all the staff, partying in one of the best casino on the Stripe. I will always remember those few days in Vegas, and I can't wait to go back there!

Awsome hostel!! So cheap but dont let tht cloud ur judgement, i alomosr did, awsome little place always organising nights out etc, a 10/15 min walk from freemont street, not really close to the strip but close enough, easy deuce bus to get back and forth to the strip tho, rooms were clean, cosy lovely, just up the street from a walgreens whxih was also handy....love vegas!!! Love this hostel, definantly stay again x

Many people questioned staying at a hostel when other accomodations are so cheap in vegas. but as there was only 2 of us travelling we wanted to meet people to party with and that we did. they were also really good at organising our grand canyon tour and showed you ways to do vegas on a budget. awesome staff and inclusive activities every night. cheers.

Very friendly and helpful staff, nice and mixed crowd of all nationalities and ages staying there. Almost too clean in the sense that I do not like the smell of Clorox/Cleaner - but hey, no roaches or grease to be seen anywhere :-) I had a very pleasent stay and want to say thanks again with greetings from Silke/Germany

Super friendly staff and really good value for money.

A cool little hostel, pretty easy access to the main part of the strip via the 24hr bus, the nearest stop is about a 2 minute walk from the hostel. Nice staff.
