We stayed for two nights and were sad to leave!! The room was nice and clean, its in a really central location, the staff are really helpful and friendly and the roof top bar is a great place to meet new people over some very reasonably priced drinks. We also really appreciated that they let us use the kitchen and bar after we had checked out. This hostel has everything you could need and more and was a great experience, thanks!!!

Cool rooftop bar at affordable prices. Well connected-turibus (recommend) starts from outside the hostel, good subway (metro) systems. Staff all friendly and happy to help. Often there are problems with the card keys not working at the first set of doors inside the hostel, but staff quickly sort this out. Breakfast is fine, lockers are spacious.

Would write all the names of your staff here but their are too many. They were all LEGENDS. I have worked in Hospitality Management most my life and you are very lucky to have such a good crew of people working for you. They all made my stay awesome and I will recommend you to all my friends. Take care, thankyou, and pat all your staff on the back for me. Take care J

SO SO SO SO loud. Really fun/energetic place to be, but on nights when my sister and I weren't up for partying all night long... we weren't able to get away from the noise. It made it really hard to sleep at night. Also, privacy was a bit weird with all the windows opening up into the center of the building (too hot/stuffy to leave the windows shut all the time).

Likes Great location for the city centre for walking, access to buses, tours, metro and shopping. Good tours operated by Wayak tours with desk at hostel. Great rooftop bar location with very affordable drinks. Staff at front desk and bar area friendly and knowledgable. Dislikes Private room with ensuite very small only able to fit double bed and no room for suitcases. Very noisy due to atrium design of hostel. Very hot at night due to no ventilation or fans. Roof top bar in desperate need of

I was really impressed by this hostel. We arrived much earlier than the check in time and they gave us free breakfast and showers. The hostel was very organised. We traveled from all contries between Panamá and Mexico, and this was the best hostel we stayed in.

the hostel was quite impersonal and the "common area" was not a place to meet other travelers. but the location was awesome though.

The staff were helpful, and fun to party with! Fantastic view of the Cathedral and Mexico City from the rooftop bar. Pretty good location, close to the metro (which gets you everywhere for super cheap!). The rooms get very hot though and the complimentary breakfast is below average.

I had a wonderful stay at Hostel Cathedral. One thing I do want to mention is there were a few termites in my room. Perhaps more frequent pest control will help. Otherwise, I plan to stay there again.

Came in late and left early in the morning. The staff where very helpful. As a lone, older traveller I felt safe and welcomed. Thank you.

Located in the heart of Central Mexico City right next to the Cathedral and Zocalo..this hostel puts you in the action immediately... MC is very safe to walk around in at night...and the crowds are huge... This is an urban experience... The nearby pedestrianized walking street leads to the Cultural center....and a large park with dozens of fountains were people walk at night... Literally within sight of the Temple Mayor archeological site and museum.

Walking tours with Fernando are a must! He is not a tour guide, instead he a Mexican willing to take the time and show you the city he grew up in. He is a genuine ambassador for this city... Plus he'll get you drunk for basically free. Ntobeko and Nathan made the bar a lively place to be, encouraging everyone to make friends. Management were also top notch. This was the hardest place to leave. Huge thank you! Jo and Matt

I stayed in mid April. Well located, fairly social hostel. Overall I had a great time there. The rooftop bar was a great place to meet people and they had some activities over the week. Minor complaints: Breakfast was fairly average, but you could get by on it. The laundry wasn't working while I stayed, it may be working now. The bunk beds were a little loose and so they shook a bit if the person below or above you was turning in their sleep. Pretty minor complaints overall.

Good location! But the key cards didn't always work. Also, I'd prefer if there was a door bell or something in the front door. I came to hostel around midnight, and it was closed, at least I didn't see any bell to ring.

The continental breakfast offered nothing I could actually eat, but otherwise our stay was great.
