Great looking hostel, nice and clean, we liked the place because it said it was a smoke free hostel, but with everyone smoking in the entrance the whole place filled with smoke..not good at all!

The location is awesome. It¨is a very hip, modern, young hostel. I rented a twin private room with shared bathroom and I was satisfied with my choice. They have a luggage room, security deposit boxes, restaurant, fancy lounge bar, kitchen, taras, tv and free internet room. You will have many opportunities to socialize with other guests and hear their stories which is fun and important when yoiu travel solo. The place is busy and a bit loud, so bringing your own earplugs might be a good idea.

By far, the best hostel in Mexico City. Unbeatable location and great atmosphere, they offer some free tours which I found very interesting (specially the pulque and the markets one). The terrace has awesome views of the Cathedral an Zocalo and a very nice bar. Clean rooms. Very helpful staff, which always seemed keen to help and make guests feel like home. Would definetely recommend.

Good facilities in general and locatio. But When i wanna Know information about the city, the recepcionist didnt have maps. They dont gave me good information. I had to go outside for touristic information . That was one lady call Laura an another guy. The rest of the hostel quite good. Only the staff and his usseles information was a problem. When i took the taxi to the airport charge me more. And the driver told me that the prices were different. So you have to refresh the information abou it.

I would really recommend this hostel, the staff are super friendly and helpful and really made me feel welcome. They were really helpful with info about the local area and places to eat, things to see etc.... I also managed to squeeze in some free Spanish lessons, which really helped me on my trip! The hostel is really clean and has great facilities, such as the terrace!! Its a great place to meet people if you want to, or just chill out!! I would defiantly recommend this hostel to anyone.

This is a standard type of hostel a with many rooms and bunk beds. The rooms all centered around the open space which all look upon the restaurant on the ground floor, this is also the downside since the restaurant is also open for public and start to play music at 8.00 AM. So not adviced for the light sleepers or late night owls.

They should leave an area for people to drink at night rather than close everything up with no where to go.

The place is impressive, the location is too good for a hostel. Probably the return on that kind of investment is not very good, but who cares. You are right in front of the city square, with a great social area, extremely clean rooms and modern bathrooms. The place is really mexican and the staff are very polite though they are overwhelmed.

Muy buen hostel. Lo recomiendo totalmente. La educacion es buenisima, tiene varios tours gratis interesantes y el ambiente es buenisimo.

Simply the best hostel in México !

Watch out for the cost of taxi's booked by the reception. The drivers can charge differently to what the reception quotes you. Also the music from the roof bar can keep you awake for hours. Staff helpfulness can be a hit or miss affair. Otherwise very good hostel.

The smell of food and noise infiltrates every part of the hostel. Not the place to go if you want to sleep early, planning on staying in or relaxing in general.

Very clean and safe, and a great location, but would recommend against staying here on the weekend if you have any hopes of sleeping. The rooftop bar pumps out bass until at least 4:30 in the morning.

We traveled to hostel cathedral in Oct and loved the city. Felt safe 99% of the time and feel in love with the city. The only down side was the hostel. Yes it was clean and friendly, but they have recenetly put a roof top bar in which was good for a beer or two but if you wanna sleep think again. They say they turn it off at 11 but they will play the music till 3:00am each morning. Didn't sleep a wink and won't stay there every again. And i am 23 and love to party but hated that place.

One of the better hostels I stayed at. I really liked how clean it was and the huge lockers. Also the location is excellent - right at the main plaza. Would definitely recommend.

This was our second stay, no major problems.

The staff at this hostel were fantastic!! So friendly and helpful! The location is perfect, really close to the metro and tourist sights, really good fun atmosphere and a guocomole night!!
