Really clean and warm inside (I visited the hostel in winter). The staff was nice. A few things that could make the experience even better: wifi also in rooms, a foot towel in bathrooms, a frying pan which works with the inductive stove and somethin green in the breakfast. However, this was one of the nicest hostels I've visited. The hostel is close to the railway station so if you arrive late or leave early, it's perfect for you.

The character in this hostal is great,every room is different,its really cool,you must stay here at least once! the location is great,right in the center of metilkova and a short walk to the three bridges. The only thing is the staff is not really friendly and the hostal is pretty serious,they dont accept visitors,even if you have a private room and you know the people who are with you. Its super clean and its a really good price,overall its an excellent hostal.

One of the best hostels I have ever stayed at.

My stay was great! All of the cell rooms are unique in design and character. The free wifi is great and the staff is fantastic. It is located about a 7-8 minute walk from the city center so the location isn't perfect but is still pretty good. I would definitely recommend this hostel, especially for the value you get for your money.

I enjoyed my stay in this hostel very much! I would recommend staying in a cell, for sure. Very unique experience. The location isn't the best, so my friend and I only stayed one night and then switched hostels the following day. Very glad we stayed at least for a night, though. Amazing atmosphere, very social feeling.

That was the second time that I stayed in Hostel Celica and would be pleased to stay there again. First of all the staff is excellent. The reception is super friendly and helpful and, helped me so much planning my days in Ljubljana. Special thanks for Petra at the reception. Second floor could give a bit more from the 'Celica experience' tho. Bar and common places are superb and great atmosphere. Maybe lockers could be good ideas to sort out for each bed. Anyway good work and 100% :)

Excellente Hostel!

it was a little bit cold, but the heater done well :) we know its an old prision so it was fine and an amazing flair. we come again!

Overall Celica is quite a good hostel. The communal areas are really great and make it easy to meet people and relax. The food at the hostel restaurant is also quite good. Not too many negatives: In the rooms there aren't enough power points which is a bit annoying. Also, the bathroom and shower in our 4 bed dorm was pretty old.

This iu the most original and the most creative hostel that I've ever seen.

This is hostel has a very nice flair. Unfortunately we didn't stay in one of the cells. Our room (4 bed) had only one socket and the WiFi does only work on the ground floor.

I stayed in the 7 bed dorm. Luckily I got there early because in this dorm there are 2 sets of single beds pushed together. If everyone is a single in the room you could end up sleeping right next to a stranger. The room was very very cramped and no place to put your luggage. The worst part was the bathroom. We did have an ensuite, which I thought would be great but it got dirty very fast. Water from the shower got everywhere, no bath mat and hair everywhere even though it was cleaned daily.

Great place to stay. Highly recommend this hostel to everyone.

The all-you-can-eat breakfast was very good value for the money - at just 2 EUR. It included juices and coffee. I found the food and drinks to be somewhat if not too expensive.

Great common area downstairs with events held most nights (live bands, all you can eat tortillas etc). Easy place to meet new friends! Booked a 12 bed dorm but received a 4 bed room, quite small rooms but comfortable beds, ensuite bathrooms. Staff are helpful and have good knowledge of the city. A great plus is its close location to the train station, an easy 5 - 10 minute walk. It is also only about a 10 minute walk into the heart of Ljubljana. Would definitely stay here if we were to return

Excellent way to show visitors the vibrant and artistic side of Ljubljana. Great service, interesting rooms, winner concept.

I truly enjoyed my stay at Celica. The staff were great, it was a wonderful place to make new friends and it was so charmingly quirky. Would recommend it to anyone and particularly to people traveling alone. Only negatives was a lack of power points in the rooms but, apart from that, really enjoyed my stay

The place is great but noisy at night. There was only txo shower for all the girls at my floor so it is not so clean when so many people use it... We got a free breakfast for the day of our arrival. Faclities are good as you have a restaurant and a bar in the hostel and some events organized.

Very near the train/bus station. Only about 5 to 10 minute to the centre. The light in the room is a bit dark, but it's not problem. Another thing is that there is wifi only on the ground floor... But still, for its price, I think hostel celica is really good!

The hostel is unique in its appearances and furnishing. It is a cool place to hang out! I booked a 7-pax dorm but due to non-peak season and that they were painting the dorm, I was offered a 2-pax prison cell that was way-cool! It is near to the bus and train station as well although slightly away from old town - but that is alright for me.
