The location of the hostel is great and the hostel staff is really cool. They help me to knows a lot about the island and can give you advise what to do. The price of the stay is fair and the rooms are clean and also have air conditioning. The break fast is Brazil standard (Coffee, bread, cheese, ham and milk, juice and fruits). In general, the hostel is really nice, If you choose Ilha Central Hostel you'll gonna be a great experience in Ilhabela - SP/ Brazil

This is a nice place to stay. My only negative point is about the cleanliness, specially at the men's bathroom. The staff wasn't able to clean it properly everyday. But location and value for money are worthwile.

Nice hostel. Very good infrastructure. Not very prepared for international guests, as most of the staff in the reception don't speak a good english. Fair price, considering that the island is crowded during the high season. Good facilities and a proper breakfast!! The air-conditioner was not working properly, and this could have helped the night, but we at least had three good fans. And the island is beautiful as well. Luana and Danilo (reception desk) were quite helpful, although Nelson wasn't.

Really lovely hostel with a nice, relaxing atmosphere. Absolutely loved it!

Very safe and central location, lovely friendly staff!

The place is really nice and cozy, it's a small hostel making it easy for people to mingle. definitely a great place to stay at.

I spent 7 nights at Hostel Central Ilhabela during the World Cup, and it was a really fantastic place. The location, facilities and above all the owner and staff were all perfect. I can't think of a single thing I would change. Truly excellent! And very affordable, too.

they charge for everything! it is even not possible to leave the bags at the reception, when you already checkd out, you have to put all in a locker and pay for it^^

Joanna, the owner, grew up in the house that they decided to turn into Hostel Central and she and the staff treat it like it was their own home. It is spotlessly clean, has two full kitchens, an outside BBQ and is located in the commercial center down the street from a SUPER market and half a block from the bus station and beach. I couldnt have been happier with my stay at Hostel Central. The relaxed atmosphere makes it a great nights rest that is needed while on the road.

We went there for one weekend. And we were very surprise how good this hostel was. The staff was always helpful for every question. They also organised booking a jeep safari and renting bikes for one day. So we just had to go to the renting and pick up our bikes. The hostel itself was very clean and the breakfast was very very good for a hostel. So if you are looking for a hostel at Ilhabela...this hostel will be a very good choice. Thank to the staff again. Enjoy your stay at this hostel.

The hostel was well taken care of with some nice outdoor space, plenty of couches for reading, a well-equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, and clean bathrooms. There were no locks on the doors (except the front door) but I felt as if everything was safe inside. I was there during the slow season (end of May) and was the only person in my room for one night. The hostel is 1/2 a block from the grocery store and 1/2 a block from the beach - Praia Pereque - where there is a bus stop. It is easy to get anywhe

Charming, neat and practical. A place with the looks of an art gallery and a feel of home away from home. In Ilhabela definetely a great option!

Cockroaches and traps - not the things I would like to see when traveling

Nice and comfortable hostel. It's a pity guests have to pay for everything like wifi access, luggage storage after check-out and even bed sheets!

Just perfect!! thank you very much!

Really clean, great furnishings, got a boutique feel to it, it is quite expensive though, and be aware theres a charge for everything, including sheets!

The location is excellent, very good staff, and few meters from the supermarket and the beatch. It could be much better if they offer breakfast.

The location of the hostel is pretty good. Right between the beach and a small center with supermarket and ATMs. Close to the bus stop as well. The big centre of the island takes about 10min by bus. The hostel was really quiet when I was there. Dorms were comfy, and staff friendly but only in Portuguese and some Spanish. Hostel couldnt provide free pick up service from the ferry though, but by bus its is quite doable. All in all I had a pleasant stay.
