Would expect hot water in the showers even in a low cost hostel, however this did not have any! Left us not being able to shower before a long train journey to krakow!

The hostel is good, the location and facilities ok. But It doesn't have enough shower and one night the hot water didn't work.

Great location, close to the centre. Beds and rooms are comfortable. Showers are clean and hot. Kitchen facilities are very limited. Paid breakfast is average quality. Prices doubled on a Wednesday which I found odd.

Bed/few bugs!!! Do go here

wanna have a kitchen

Overall, the hostel was OK. From my observations, here are my suggestions: 1) It can be very noisy outside at night and, especially during the summer, those who sleep in the front of the building will inevitably not be able to sleep because of people smoking and making loads of noise. So, maybe some steps could be taken to ask people to be more quiet? 2) KItchen on 1st floor could do with some rearrangement. Maybe an extra table in the inner chamber of the kitchen?

Really enjoyed my stay here; hostel at central location (name says it all), met many nice people and the staff is friendly. And not to forget how cheap you get all this goodness.

Located in a sketchy part of town but short walk to major sights in Prague. Definitely recommend for backpackers on a budget and very social hostel!

The hostel was not completly dirty but it could be better, waaay better. It had very small showers and they were not exactly private... there where not enough loos so you had to wait to pee. No real kitchen, just a toaster and a microwave. Eventhough the people working there were pretty nice.

This hostel is awesome! Stayed for 4 nights and had a very good stay! Great common room, very nice staff and comfortable beds! The location is very close to the center but in a quiet part of Prague so you will have no problem sleeping during night time after your five minutes walk from the center. I Strogly recomend this place and will stay here next time in Prague! Parking is €25 per night but free parkings are close.

Great hostel, easy to find from the main station and a 10 mins walk into town. Friendly staff and good facilities

Good and clean hostel, worth the money. Very nice and helpful staff. Lockers in the room. All the touristic and main attractions within a walking distance and if not feeling like walking - public transportation just in front of the building. If you need a place to sleep in a cheap price - I recommend.

We had an awesome stay in Prague and enjoyed staying 3 nights at Hostel Centre! We stayed in a 4-bed-room and were amazed by how clean and safe everything was. The rooms are furnished with a couch and tabe and has big lockers. There is a big common room with sofas,TV, free coffee and tea and a microwave and fridge to store and warm up food. Everything was nice and clean and quiet during the night - we had a great trip and definitely recommend the hostel!!!

In general, it was a good place to stay, very close to metro, reasonable price, staff is nice and supportive. Room is clean, common room is big but cooking is not allowed, atmosphere was ok. Although male and female bathrooms are separate, but male bathroom is a 3 showers bathroom with only curtains, I'm not sure about female bathroom, but probably should be the same. It would be great if the bathroom has more privacy. Recommended for young travelers, students

Staff are very unfriendly! They also make there workers do 48 hour shifts, which seemed slightly unfair.

I didn't like the place for showering. Three showers in one room, couldn't lock the door. Didn't have to do own dishes which was nice.

hostel a bit expensive by European standards. near the central station.

I don't know what was exactly with the atmosphere there, but as easily outgoing person I didn't manage to talk to anybody and I felt like guest there (in comparison to other hostels where the atmosphere was amazing and I almost felt like home). Rooms were clean, but kitchen and bathrooms could have been better.

We really liked the atmosphere, the staff is really friendly and everything was clean and nice. The only problem was that very likely two of my friends have been robbed, they couldn't find anymore perfumes and some money, so maybe you should put more attention in the safety.
