Only issue I had with this hostel was the staff. It was hard to communicate with them as I spoke basic Spanish and they spoke basic English. I needed help receiving mail but none of the staff seemed to communicate with each other about the matter, they all gave me blank faces and shrugged my questions off when I asked for help.

Staffers were nice and fun, and a great hostel for meeting other travelers. It had a family vibe. But, loud music blasting from restaurant until late, from upstairs and across street on weekends...a bit disturbing.

Mexico City has been one of my favourite cities and this place is a huge reason why. Super easy to meet people, made a great group of friends - a mixture of locals and tourists making for a sick time all day and night. Staff are really cool and helpful, location was perfect super close to the plaza. Only downside is the wifi is absolutely terrible but apart from that amazing hostel!

Hostel had really comfy beds and good showers. Kitchen was ok. Staff helpful but not always at the desk. Breakfast just toast which was fine.

The staff are really what make this Hostel amazing. The reception staff are incredibly kind, caring, and helpful. Everything else is great. Your experience here and with hostels in general will depend on the other travelers who are with you and how much work you put into socializing. Enjoy!

I had an incredible time and would stay at Regina again. I loved the rooftop terrace but only wish that it was a functioning bar once again. I do think the hostel needs a common area but again, the rooftop seems to double as one so perhaps it isn't necessary.

Very lively hostel, extremely noisy. Nice if you want to party but if you do need some rest, don't go there.

It was a good loacation of the Hostel, friendly staff and a good closeby resturant. But after been staying there for around eight nights and not a single day there where any housekeeping asking for clean sheets. that feelt kind odd and would appreciate that would change for next stay.

Excellent atmosphere and location (Regina is a nice street). However, if you're a light sleeper you're going to have trouble because the hostel tends to be very noisy at night, and the walls are very thin. Breakfast is nothing special - just toast with unsalted butter or strawberry jam (and there was only butter on the first day). The dorms are pretty disorganized and if you arrive late at night, you're going to have a pretty hard time locating a bed.

The hostel is nice and clean, the staff very friendly. The only complain is the smell of fried fish from the sushi restaurant that's in the open patio of the hostel on the ground floor. Theres also a nice roof top with a bar thats only open on weekends, unfortunately during the rest of the week theres no light and no chairs to hang around up there!

This hostel is great if you like to party and don't need much sleep. The location is very close to the metro and historical center. The dorms are directly beneath the roof top bar, and the thin walls make it hard to sleep at times. A good pair of earplugs was enough to block out the noise. There was no water in the upstairs bathroom at times and the wifi is not very reliable.

I stayed there for the third time but now the restaurants overtook the whole groundfloor of the building. So you need to enter through dinning people and the smell of the kitchen is in every room. Also it's very loud, outside and in the hostel, so for 2 nights I could barely sleep ...

This hostel is perfect in so many ways. The location and atmosphere are spot on. Many metros nearby and special sites within walking distance. The building is beautiful with built in charm and modern design. Bathrooms are spacious and clean. Dorms are as to be expected with minimal personal space but enough to be comfortable. Kitchen is a great hangout to meat fellow travelers and eat interesting meals. Everyone working was gracious and helpful with very few restrictions.

Because of the many restaurants in the ground floor, it is very noisy at night

Nice Hostel, great staff and good location but this is a party hostel especially on weekends. The restaurants are playing loud music until 12 and on weekends they have a roof party that is very loud until 3AM. The manager seemed totally oblivious that 90% of people staying at the hostel were in their dorms waiting to sleep. Majority of the people partying were not staying at the hostel and caused a lot of noise leaving. If you want quiet this hostel is not for you but if you want to partay...

Well located in the historical central and close to the metro. Big hostel so you can meet lots of people. Wi-Fi is fast but no one could connect to it longer than 10seconds. Very frustrating. Breakfast was just white toast and coffee. Terrace upstairs has a party which goes on every night till about 2 am. It's a very noisy hostel. Showers need a good scrub. Each bunk had a decent sized locker. The atmosphere was good. Large open spaces. Quite comfortable.

Wi-fi barely usable, though desktop terminals work fine. Dorm room doors need a card lock to open, but staff on duty are the only ones that possess them - very inconvenient when roommates close the door and the person on duty can't be found. Excellent location in Centro Historico, but not the best choice if you are a light sleeper, as nightlife and street noise will keep you up much of the night...

Cool hostel in a really good location. It's close to the center, and also is in the University district so there are tons of cheap bars around. The large dorm rooms are for party people (folks can sleep in till 2-3pm over the weekends), so be prepared to party out when you're there :)

It was to loud in the night!!!

I really liked this Hostel, it had a funky design and a restaurant downstairs as well as a rooftop bar which was really nice. The reception staff were really good at helping organise tours and letting us know about the area as well as where to eat. I would recommend this hostel to my friends.
