Amazing hostel!! Located right in the heart of the action. A few blocks from the beach, great roof bar!! What really makes this place is the staff... sooooo nice, came out partying with us and organised a trip to go snorkelling an hour out of Playa del Carmen. Cook your own eggs in the morning is a bonus. Definitely stay at this hostel!!!

One staff member seemed annoyed/shocked that I was awake around 7am on a Saturday. I was going diving - people have stuff to do other than drink! Oh, this is a party hostel, you will not get much sleep as the music booms on till the early hours, when that stops the dogs outside start barking. I would not rush back. Also, there were not enough lockers in the room for my friend and I. There is good air conditioning though.

Che Boludo! Great staff, which more than makes up for the somewhat cramped dorms. But Playa DC is about the beach and the nightlife, not the bunks per room size ratio. Simple adequate breakfast, useful common areas and awesome rooftop bar. Recommended ... highly recommended if you can hang with Angentinians.

Tours list price on the board is for tourists, not for independent backpackers or traveler. The price is too high on some tours. i even managed to get to Tulum, Tulum Ruins, Vallalolid, Chichen Itza and back for about $30 total not $45 special for round trip to Chichen Itza only. Computer is in wrong place during the morning sunny day, it blind you. Air Conditioning in dorm bed is great and really cold! Nice staff.

I was a little disappointed with this place. I had read a lot of the reviews and was excited about staying here but was let done by uncomfortable beds and lack of hot water. The staff were friendly though.

The hostel was very professional and well organized. It has a good location and the staff is welcoming and friendly. Some of the artwork on the walls is really amazing. And everything was clean and well presented. I do however feel that it was missing that "mi casa es su casa" family vibe so to speak. It had more of a business, make money vibe and while there is nothing wrong with this as it is one I tend to enjoy the opposite. That said I'd still recommend the hostel and ejoyed my stay overall.

I had a pleasant stay, a friendly staff at all time, and cleanliness of facilities at an accesible price. Tina, Martha and Coco are very cool and attentive!

We had a lot of fun there. Staff was great! Location perfect and it was not too loud etc which was our only concern before our stay. I highly recomend this hostel.

Great location, just off the main street and close to the beach. Super friendly and helpful staff. Stayed in a private room which was nice but the dorms looked good also. Beautiful rooftop with bar, good for chilling out and having some pre-party drinks. Overall the hostel had an awesome vibe. Met some really cool people which is always a bonus. Would definitely recommend it if you're looking for somewhere fun and affordable to stay in Playa.

Hostel Che was a cool place to stay where I met a pair of travelers to continue on with for a few days. Coco received me very warmly there. Has a cool vibe. A lot of Argentines when I happened to be there but that makes sense based on the staff and the name. Not a far walk from anything in Playa, as it is all centrally located. Wish there had been more social interaction, though, but that was just my experience.

A small hostel located close to the beach and the main shops. I met a lot of people here and we enjoyed hanging out in the kitchen, balcony of one of the dorm rooms and the rooftop bar. The staff were friendly and organised trips from the hostel- a highlight was going to Akumal with Tina and about 10 others from the hostel for a day trip. They provide bread, eggs and jam for breakfast.

Everything was below par! I'm not an overly fussy person but this was nothing special at all. After reading reviews I looked forward to my stay but as soon as I walked in I was dissapointed. From what I'm told there are many many better places to stay in town.
