Such a sick hostel. Everyone who works here is so sound, really cool guys. The place had got such a chilled out vibe, they've just had a new kitchen fitted downstairs with a proper oven etc. So we all got cooked a big meal last night. Right down the road from 5th. So super easy to find from the bus terminal. If I come back to playa it will definitely to this place.

Friendly staff, average bar in the rooftop. Rooms are quite noisy as there isnt bare any isolation between rooms and bar.

GREAT Atmosphere to meet everyone and go out activities both arranged by the hostel or among ourselves. Get the "superior" dorm room, it's in the front with a balcony and hammock. I met the coolest people at this hostel, definitely would come back! - Bike Rental: 130 pecos, ask if they're doing a bike tour while you're there - Location: everything is very walkable - Staff: genuinely friendly people -Bathrooms: clean, provide hand soap and toilet paper - Don't plan on sleeping before 12

This was a really nice hostel! It had awesome staff, a friendly atmosphere, and wasn't too loud for a Playa hostel. It was a bit further from the main street than some, but overall a great experience! Highly recommended.

It's without a doubt the best hostel I have stayed at in Mexico. I loved the staff, they are all so friendly and will help you out with your needs! The rooftop bar is one of the best places in the city to meet people to hang og go out with, and the bartenders have a very high standard and will get the party going. In the common area everybody were friendly, so if you feel like camping or what not, you can just ask around. So if you are a social person, and don't mind a bit of music, go for che!

I think the phrase ¨home away from home¨ fits perfect because is really like that how you feel being there (even better than in your own home) Its a friendly hostel, ideal place for travelers who want to meet people and have fun. Its close to the beach, even closer to the main square. WIFI is awesome because is free and you can use it everywhere at the hostel. The staff are incredible, friendly and they also provide free trips to surrounding areas (like Akumal, where you can swim with big tur

Definitely THE PLACE in Playa del Carmen. Best? The atmosphere and the people you meet there. Also the staff is so friendly, and that give life to this wonderful place. I was previously in another hostel in Playa, but had no soul, at 23hs lights and music were off. Here, if you want to have fun is the Cool terrace with all imaginable (ladies night), with space to meet anothers travellers. if you're on a wave more chill out, you can stay on the ground floor where there is the kitchen and couches

We liked the location... Close to WalMart and close to the beach! The staff was also really friendly and helpful! At the beginning of our stay we didn't get a key for our room-but After two days we hab one and felt safer!

The staff sometimes could be more helpful. They should organize more activities to interact people, such as thematic dinners, guided tours. They should have more lockers in the rooms, it was not enough for me and i had to leave my luggages on the room - with no keys! - The "breakfast" should have at least milk, juice and cheese, it was just bread and eggs, very poor! On the other hand, its a good vibe hostel, they have much potential but still have a lot to do.

Owner Comment (Show)
Im sorry, we organize 2 free tours (monday & friday) to Akumal for snorkeling with tourtles, ours bartenders take the crowd everynigth to the clubs and all the rooms has key, and there is always one locker pers person, sometime some guest tooks two, in this case you should let us know so we can go to the room and check it for you. Breakfast is Coffe, Powdered milk , Tost, Oranges and Eggs, i guess one of the most complete breakfast in Playa del Carmen, sorry if we are not a hotel and we dont have "cheese". Sometimes, and sorry for this, i think people confuse Hotel service with a Hostel. We are totally disagree with your comment, Best regards, Matias - Hostel Che Staff

Such a nice hostel, really enjoyed my stay here. A little noisy but well so are most hostels, it never bothered me too much.
