Forlorn, cobble - stoned Angielska Grobla Street, where the hostel is situated, is extending from the Motlawa River in a direction of a demolished building of an old slaughterhouse and the place itself is one of the most mysterious backstreets in the centre of Gdansk.

Very close to the downtown, but the neighbourhood is kind of ghetto (we had no problems). Employees are nice but some of them are not from Gdansk and don\'t know the city very well. There is no common places to prepare dinner or so. The place is more or less clean and the rooms are tidied. IMHO is great value for money but probably not a good idea if you\'re travelling alone and want to meet people at the hostel.
