We booked a 5 bed private. When we turned up, the room we were given only had 4 beds, and we had to wait for hours for another bed to be placed, making the room incredibly cramped. This isn't mentioning the fact that the room absolutely stank of something we couldn't (and perhaps didn't want to) figure out. For the amount of money we paid for it, this place was rubbish.
Staff were old, but helpful when you ask. Not really any common room area, but nice patio. There is a little fridge and a kettle but that's it, showers and toilets were clean and private, and security was good although no lockers and you had to leave your key at the door and buzz in every time. Comfy beds!
Was a great place to stay. Not too far from city centre with lots to see on the way
One of the sketchiest hostels I've stayed in. No age limits so there was a 50 year old man in my room who liked to smoke weed and walk around with his pants off. No kitchen just a shared microwave and kettle and if you're lucky your room will have a mini fridge in it. If you're staying in one of the 6 bed rooms you have to leave your key at the desk every time you leave the building and buzz back in later. Only plus is that it's only a 15 min walk to the city center.
Very friendly and helpful staff, good location: close to metro station, Váci Utca (excellent for shopping!) and the river. Good price for the quality of the hostel - clean rooms etc... I only didn't like the fact that the showers didn't have any sign saying male/ female and the shower door is a bit transparent... : /
Not as great a location as I had hoped. About 30 mins walk from the old city where I spent most of my evenings. The 8 minutes they state as the distance from the center is to wesleyan square but most sights and bars are much further
Good location. Nice place for big groups. Rooms and beds nothing special. Old furniture
Very central and ideal for somewhere to stay
