+: Nice building with patio and fireplace in the common room -: Minimalist breakfast Poor noise isolation in the romos Room smelled woodfire because situatedabov the common room

The location is excellent and the staff is very attentive. I really recommend the hostel by value for money and atmosphere. The breakfast is also fine.

Great location with good atmosphere! The hostel is located in a beautiful colonial house, close to Colonia´s main attractions. Staff is nice and helpful. There is a nice common area to relax and make friends. Breakfast is OK, nothing much. Only downside are the bathrooms, which are a old and a bit dirty.

A great place to stay in Colonia as it is both close to the historic area and bus station. There are many restaurants and shops nearby too. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. The bathrooms are spotless and showers are piping hot. The communal area is small but comfortable and there are two computers for guest use and a small kitchen. Breakfast consists of cereal, coffee and bread rolls. For some reason there was a very bad smell in the reception area though.

Yhe hostel is only 15 minutes away from the ferry pier and bus terminal. It is only ten minutes away to the old district where you see old Portugue traces left by Portugues in the 17th entury. It is a very qiiet town where there are NO affic lights. Cars need to stop at the intersection to ensure a safe crossing. Most historic ttractions such as the fortess, architecture a lighthouse can be viewed completely in half day. It is hghly recommende for those who seek quiet moments to walk a reflect.
