I had a great time in colonia at the hostel. Is located at the Main Street, near everything. The lockers were small so I couldn't place my stuff there. Bathroom is outside the room. The best thing is that they have bikes FOR FREE, so you can go around the whole city really quickly, there's no need to rent a car. Also a cute hostel with many plants. Loved it.
Great location. The building has a nice courtyard to hang out in. There's no lockers for your things in the room, however they have little lockable cubbies behind reception. The staff seem good, but didn't have much interaction. The kitchen was decent to cook in. Breakfast was really good. Decent value for money.
Excellent location - short walk to old town, bus station and ferry. Beds are comfortable. Staff are friendly. Wifi is decent. No lockers in the room. Breakfast is minimal (just bread, condiments and drinks). Bathrooms are few in number and don't have soap. Common areas don't have many activities or entertainment options.
Very nice hostel in perfect location. Staff were very helpful. Only minuses were broken nightlamp and a lack of toiletpaper at times. We enjoyed out stay there.
Weird atmosphere. Always filled with the owners and/or managers family. The family would always be watching the tv, and if you went in the room it felt like you were intruding on their family time. Kitchen was the very bare essentials, and most things were dirty. However, overall the hostel was very clean. Not many people were there which I'm sure is because it's the off-season.
Excellent location! It is located in Colonia's main street, close to many shops and restaurants. It is also very close (5-10 min walking distance) to both Buquebus ferry pier and Colonia bus station, and to Colonia's historic center. Staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast was simple but good. Few bathrooms but when we stayed the hostel had few travelers so it wasn't a problem. The doors of the room are two-part old style which can be tricky if you have never used them before.
