Really friendly staff, nice modern facilities. Wifi in rooms would be nice. Definetly recommend this place
Nice quiet hostel, easy to get to from the train station and easy to get into the center from.. We ended up in a smaller more comfortable dorm despite paying for a cheaper one which was nice.We also had to leave before breakfast was served, so they gave us a take away croissant.
Hostel was nice, and on a good location, not in the center, but very easily reachable and close to the metro station. Staff was very helpful. thanks
this hostel is definitley best hostel. the staff is so kind and atmosphere is really great and unique, Also price is incredibly cheap. and there are wifi, computer, hot shower and so on, everything you need to. I love this hostel!!!!
I stayed here as the location was near to my work. However after staying at many hostels, i would only rate this one as average
The location is not good but you have the metro only a few blocks away. I got charged taxes that the page said were included. The person that made our check in was not helpful and did't treat us well. I woudn't recommend this hostel.
best part was the breakfast, which was free and quite expansive. quite pastry loaded for sure. no wifi in rooms, but beds were quite comfy and free linen. good bathrooms too. the guy wasn't the nicest though.
Having stayed in many hostels I would rate this place as top notch in terms of everything. The staff is amazing, they have free internet, clean bathrooms, amazing breakfast and is centrally located, metro is nearby and so is the bus station you name they have got it. Would certainly stay here again - special thanks to Alesandro for being extra helpful as well as Nicolas Cage( the guy with long blond hair) sorry didnt get the name. Guys Keep it ! you are good. Loved it, wont stay anywhere else in milan for the (hopefully) next times! Clean, easy to find, on a metro line so everything is easily accessible, good breakfast and friendly staff. Thank you!
It's was a wonderful and worth experience to stay in Hostel Colours. Found a nice, comfortable hostel in a affordable price. Staff are so nice and friendly. I definitely recommend this!

It's a good hostel, i would go back. My comments are two. Firsty, i would suggest to have in the bathroom some cheap shampoo and bath cream, for the backpackers who travel a lot and do not carry all these staff. I've seen it in other hostels and it was very useful when i only had to spend a night. Secondly, the breakfast is a very good idea, Though, you could improve a bit the quality of coffee, which tastes like water, coffee and chocolate. With love :)
Great hostel, got upgraded and the front desk was extremely helpful

Everything was good .. the rooms were more than just clean , they looked like a freaking hotel room. Probably the cleanest hostel I have been to yet , bathrooms were HUGE and amazing (though the shower wasnt working) . The breakfast has varieties but doesnt taste as good as it looks. Location is nice and well connected with the metro.
I just stayed there one night because I needed to go to the airport at the next day. Even so, I was treated very well by the staff and also by the manager of the place, who was very kind and told me everything that I needed to do to get to the airport.
The place is really expensive for what I paid, I didn't like the neighborhood, it didn't feel safe and I couldn't pay with cart, didn't like at all
I was in room number 2 and it‘s ridiculously noisy. One can hear everything that goes on in the common room and even the shower running in the bathroom outside. Guests have a key to the bathroom, but it‘s problematic because there is no lock on the inside and anyone with a key can open the door at any time. The lockers are really small. A few shelves and hangers in the room and bathroom wouldn‘t hurt either. The staff was very nice and did what was in their power to help.
There was a little confusion when i got there so they putme in the wrong room. after asking about it they gave me the right one. Everything else was perfekt. Wifi in the big public area, fine beds and everything. Only bad thiing was the cold shower on my last day but they fixed it till the next moning. Verry helpfull staff telling you everything you need to know if they can.

One important reasons to stay here, Birrificio Lambrate. A local brewery with two locations both close to the hostel. Incredible beers and they do aperitif (free! as it should be). Look it up! Apart from that the hostel is nice, clean, modern. Sadly, not much buzz, luckily I'm a bit of a socialite and wasn't faced with friend making issues. It's not that far from central Milan. Milan's big so this isn't the worst place to be. Don't forget to get amongst those beers!
On hostelworld.com I couldn't make a reservation in the same room for 2 nights, but when I got there I was accommodated in the less expensive room for the entire staying, but payed what II have had reserved. I asked for a refunding, which never happened. Otherwise it's a good hostel, but tricking travelers isn't cool at all. So pay attention, what you reserve, isn't necessarily what you'll get.
