Centrally located, walking distance from plenty of bars, Bernardo is helpful and personable. Only downside is that the facilities are a bit bare bones.Centrally located, walking distance from plenty of bars, Bernardo is helpful and personable. we were only here for a night, just had a layover. it is super close to the zocolo, u can literally walk, dont let the taxis tell u its too far. in a real quiet location (minus the neighbors dog) but overall a nice chill place. we were only here for a night, just had a layover. it is super close to the zocolo, u can literally walk, dont let the taxis tell u its too far. in a real quiet location (minus the neighbors dog) but overall a nice chill place. ...Close

Great location in a nice part of town, internet and cable TV, and Bernard is very helpful. However, male bathrooms were in a terrible state and a lot of noise from the dog next door!Great location in a nice part of town, internet and cable TV, and Bernard is very helpful. When I arrived in Mexico City, I'd planned on staying four nights at Condesa Chapultepec, but I enjoyed the hostel so much that I actually stayed for the entire duration of my trip. It was precisely what I was looking for: a friendly, laid-back environment in a residential neighborhood away from (but not without easy access to) the most traversed tourist areas. Bernarndo, the owner, is a wonderful source of advice. All in all the hostel is superb, especially for inpendent-minded travellers.
