Perfect location, easy to reach either Amsterdam Centraal, Red Light District, and Dam Square; but the place is small, the bathrooms and stairs are narrow, and because the hostel is, let's say "compact", don't expect facilities such kitchen to prepare your own meal or laundry. But the internet ir free, with is more than OK.

Great location and reasonably priced. Not a nice stay, but good for a great weekend trip right next to the red light district and plenty of coffee shops

This hostel was pretty good. They provide a towel if you need it. Very close to all of the festivities ;-) The staircase is very steep. That is the only thing I can say that is negative about this place.

If you just want a place to sleep, this hostel is ok. The location is supreme. But the room was dirty and the toilet is in bad condition. The staffs are hot and sexy and nice.

Well this place is ok if you just want a place to crash for cheap. No way could you stay here a long time, it is in an excellent location, but as for trying to do anything like cooking/washing, you can't.

The night crew were very nice and helpful. The guy who sits there during the day didn't care about the guests (or so it seemed). The place has clean sheets/towel, warm water and gives you a decent night's sleep. The toilets are squeezed into the bathrooms which makes it awkward to use since you have to maneuver a bit to sit down because of the limited space. Amsterdam is expensive, and this is one of the lowest priced hostels in the area.

It was a terrible time in the hostel. Employees were not nice and the cleanliness is terrible. We got some bites, maybe of fleas or some other insect. Bathrooms were nasty and everything dirty. I would never come back to that hostel.

I only stayed one night, but Hotel Croydon was the perfect fit for my purposes. It was easy to find after arriving in Amsterdam, I could pay with my credit card, there was free Wifi, and nothing could have beat its location in the Red Light district!

Stairs are a deathtrap, one staff constantly asked for entrance card; even when they dme leave 10 minutes before, shower / toilet combo is gross (especially when it isn't cleaned)

The room was not so nice or clean, but the staff was friendly (At least some of them). we shared a bathroom with 8 person which was not cleaned while our stay there. Location was good though if you are travelling with male friends. I would never bring girls or kids to this place. Especiallz kids!!!

The hostel is very well located. The staff is well. They allowed me to leave my luggage a few hours before my check-in. The spacious habiraciones. The hostel is only for sleeping, not have any other service. The only problem is finding the hostel the first time.

Beds, toilets, floors, walls, lockers, stairs and every other thing you can think of were dirty and disgusting. If you don't have money and have to spend 1 night in the city, you can try, but more than 1 night, thing again. It shouldn't be that much difficult doing a "little" cleaning at least, please! It's a shame for its location.

I definitely would not recommend this hostel! it has a bad wi-fi signal, cleaning is very shallow, the room I slept was smeared on the walls !

Well, the location it's awesome, right in the middle of the red light district, but goddamn the bathroom were disgusting because when you use the shower the water level rises flooding the bathroom. And also the room were pretty dirty expecially in the bed zone.
