The hostel staff was very unfriendly, The room smelled bad, bathrooms, etc. seemed to be clean.

Staff is very friendly, Location is perfect and value for money. The nearest super market is far away from the hostel but it is very close to the tivoli park and a few minutes to the main street in copehagen

Hostel des Artistes is a very nice place to stay a few days in Rome and provides backpackers with the essential that they need. Just two remarks: 1 as the lockers are, everyone can see the valuable stuff that one wishes to keep out of the burglars' eyes . They would be safer if none could see what is inside; 2 some personnel at the front desk may be rude and then make you feel not welcome.

Double room cheap and near all touristic places!

Very nice hotel/hostel for the price, clean, secure, with nearby bars and restaurants. Fairly conveniently located only a 2-3 minute walk from Metro line B and about 5-7 minute walk to Roma Termini station. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. I might not recommended if you're looking to meet people to hang out with as it's more of a hotel atmosphere than a hostel, but it's a great place if you want something comfortable for a good price.

My friend and I stayed here for two nights (we're both college age students) and found almost no one our age there, everyone was much older. It was definitely not somewhere you could socialize and meet others, but more just for sleeping. Everything was really clean! The locks on our door was pretty sketchy though and the door barely closed all the way.

I enjoyed my time in Rome; and this hostel is good for someone who wants to stay for 2, 3 nights ....I chose a double room, so it was really good; clean, good toilets, the bed sheets clean every day, the staff nice and trying to support you. It's really easy to use the transport from there to the Termini Station is only 6 minutes walking, easy for central Rome. I recommend this hostel for it's price it's worth it. security good. you have lookers, wifi is good. ...
