best value hostel i have seen anywhere in the world.

I had a great time in this Hostel. The stuff is and efficient. I recommend it to everyone. The Hostel is a bit far from the centre but the train is very close and it works the whole night at weekends.

Mostly older people staying there for work, etc. A couple slightly weird long-term residents. Clean and reasonably priced, though.

Hostel is a great value. It is not in the center of action, which perhaps is a good thing. This is not a party hostel. Many of the people who stay here are in Berlin for business, whether it is for work or school. In the hallway is helpful information about visiting Berlin and also logistics - where there is a laundromat, an internet cafe, restaurants. Around the corner is a convenient grocery store.

We have been there only one night before flying else, but it was pleasant stay. We were group of four with two separate reservations and they was able to get us together. Everything was nice and clean and they gave us locks to lockers in the room (no, it's not everywhere :D ). So, for that price very nice hostel, although quite far from central Berlin.
