I had a great stay. You are given a padlock and key to use with a big locker. Kitchen is perfectly stocked for a backpacker. Relaxing common room. Very helpful staff and lots of information around the hostel. Not too close to where you want to sight see but an easy enough journey by S-bahn.

We had a lovely stay at this hostel! The staff in particular are very helpful and friendly. The lady that checked us in took the time to go over the map of the city and highlight all the major sites to see as well as some less obvious things. We had a wonderful stay in Berlin! The location is a little out of the city centre, but it doesnot take long on the SBahn to get to the core of the East side where a lot of the hostoircal points of interest are.

It would be nice if they locate a (small) mirror in the room to help us for dressing up :)

quite a nice hostel, quicker to get to from the ring S train Halensee stop than from the other line, the kitchen is well stocked with a variety of electrical implements, but does not have a stove so boiling things is difficult (but it does have an electrical kettle)

Very cosy and clean. Nice kitchen area. Comfortable beds, helpful staff, lots of helpful information on places to go in Berlin, free with. Really cheap, we really enjoyed our stay. Charlottenburg is a very pretty part of Berlin. Would definitely stay again.

When we got to Berlin, we basically had one afternoon to see all the most important sights there are to see. The hostel staff showed us on the map where each and every one was located and how to get there and the route we should take in order to do it all. We also had some recommendations from friends on where to go out and eat, and even though the hostel staff didn't know where they were, she looked up all the places on the list and marked them on our map also. We saw everything.

Hostel Die Etage charged me only 7euro per night!!! At first I thought this hostel seemed a little sketchy because part of the glass entrance was cracked and we had to buzz in to have the door open, but once we checked in, it was GREAT! The lady who greeted us was very kind. The wifi worked perfectly in the rooms (so thankful for this)!!! Clean showers and bathrooms. I even felt comfortable sleeping in the beds because the sheets and pillow were clean too! I was extremely happy with my stay.

Die Etage hostel is great place to stay in Berlin. Nice, cheap and clean. You get anything you need: large rooms, comfortable beds, clean bathrooms, common room and kitchen at your disposal. Especially staff deserves on A+. They will give you any information you need, guide anywhere you want, mark everything on map and do it with a smile on their lips... I can fully recommended this place to stay

Rooms are clean, staff really helpfull. The area is not so in the center but atmosphere of neiberhood is great, a lot of small restaurants and coffee shops(a special close to station S-bahn Charlotenburg) Just one thing that is not so in common that during the night there is no anybody from the staff in hostel and some of guest from different rooms could be laud and disturbed. What is important - you don't have to pay for linen! Everything is include. :)

This Hostel was great. It had a very home like feel. They have any and everything you could ever need. It was an amazing upgrade from our hostel in Paris. We were impressed with all of the facilities and how clean they were. The staff was very welcoming and the women who greeted us when we first got there showed us every and anything we needed for the city.

I went with my mom and the service was awesome! There was a moment we might have a third person coming with us and they were kind enough to add another bed to the room (there was no extra cost!). That was, among the many attentive things they made for us. Vielen Danke!

Great hostel. Large rooms, good beds, very clean bathrooms. The common room was a great environment to meet everyone staying at the hostel. Although there is no stove top in the kitchen there are appliances which allow you to cook pretty much anything. A little bit far from the station and the centre but all staff are extremely helpful and will guide you anywhere you want to go. All in all i great hostel.
