For the four nights I have stayed, there is no enough water for shower. ( two nights private bathroom and two nights shared bathroom).

Great location, very clean. Some of the best beds I've ever stayed in.

This was my first time at Hostel Downtown. My sister had been here before and had a very nice experience. I had an issue because I accidentally booked the wrong date, but they were very helpful and changed my reservation for free. One of the main reasons we decided to stay here again was because of the evening activities with Kristian. At other hostels I have stayed at there has never been anyone so enthusiastic. He really went out of his way to make us feel welcome.

Great location. Friendly and helpful staff. Great morning breakfast (fried eggs, sausage links, cereal, bread, coffee) for only 3.50 Euros. Great lounge area with public computers and kitchen. Rooms were spacious and clean.Bathrooms and showers were always available, but not always clean. Hair and dirty water everywhere, plus showers ran out of hot water if you waited until night time to shower. Wi-fi was slow! Overall, great stay, would definitely recommend this hostel to fellow travelers!

This is my second time in Prague and at Hostel Downtown. Last time I came alone but this time I brought my sister along. I booked H.D. this time because I had such a great experience before. Our stay this time was also outstanding. The repainted entry looks very nice and they added an activity board so you can find interesting things to do. But the best part of the hostel is still the nightly activities with Kristian. It was fun trying to cook Czech food while he told us funny stories and jokes!

I loved this hostel! Is super well located, clean and it has a piano too!

Great location & quiet.

Upon first arrival was skeptical. Not well lit, sketchy elevator, hot water/heater wasn't working and dealt with a very cold front desk attendant. Then, suddenly, everything turned around! Other members of staff were delightful, helped us with our problems and answered any and all questions. The location is one of the best. Bit of an older crowd, but you can make some friends among other travelers if you really want. Would definitely reccomend.

A well run hostel with helpful happy staff. Dorms have plenty space. Internet good. Will stay again.
