Amazing hostel, great environment. Helpful staff, access to a full equipped kitchen, wi-fi, big lockers in the rooms. When i stayed, my room was cold because of a failure in the heat system, but they let me use extra sheets and it was ok. I met great people and i definetely recommend Hostel DownTown.

Great Hostel! Probably one of the best hostel's I've stayed in.

If you are looking at those review it's because you are like me before I leave, not sure if you will choose the right hostel for your trip to Prague. I totally fell in love with this place. People who are working there are really kind. The bed are comfortable, the washroom are really clean. No problem with heat or hot water during our stay. As a plus value, Kristian is the best guy ever, if you want to have a great stay in Prague choose this hostel!

Except the view which is not so romantic I would really recommend this hostel to people who want to party in Prague or who just seek a clean hotel with a friendly and competent staff.

The staff here is great and the people I met were also awesome. We spent Christmas Eve here and the staff did an excellent job of coordinating the celebration. It felt like a homey, genuine place.

Absolute tops hostel with friendly staff and great faciilities. loads of fun. Kristian really does well bringing the people together and contributes significantly to a good time. his castle tour is definately worth joining since its free and good fun. ill definately be returning here if im ever back in \prague, mostly because its so easy to make many new friends, with thanks to kristian. Manager of this hostel really should give him a payrise!

I will start with something a local friend told me when I showed him the address: "location could not be better". Truly in the middle of the old town close to most attractions. Staff is very friendly (especially the Ukranian bunch!). Bedrooms & bathroomss are very clean. Will definitely go back if I'm in Prague again

I had a great stay at Hostel DownTown. The staff was friendly and the hostel was extremely clean. The hostel is in a good location, not too far from the Old Town Square and other main tourist attractions. Kristian, the social director, was fantastic - he was extremely knowledgeable about Prague, he organized fun events and was a lot of fun to hang out with. If I return to Prague, I would definitely stay here again.

Heyyy, First thing i am going to say that cristian is the beat guy in prague:) Except Cristian there was a young boy with the glasses in reception, he was a little rude to us. i advice him to learn something from cristian. Except the guy with glasses everything was great, thank youu Say hello to Cristian, i will attend his tour again if i come to prague again. The last thing is Cristian is the best guy in prague:) Bye bye Fatih

I enjoyed my time at Hostel DownTown very much. I couldn't believe how helpful the staff was. Any question that I had, the receptionists knew the answer and were more than willing to help. It was also very clean, very accomadating, and in an awesome location. I had a wonderful time.

This place was amazing! The staff were super helpful, friendly, welcoming, & accommodating (above & beyond the call of duty, for sure!). We stayed over a week & were so sad to leave, as the staff truly made it feel like a home away from home. Plus cool activities (food!) and great common spaces. Def recommend!

Such a lovely hostel. Clean, friendly, felt totally secure the whole time. Met loads of people and just generally had a great time. The activities that the hostel puts on are excellent as well. Learned about the History of Prague and Czech Republic, and the monuments and sights around the city- thanks Kristian :) Look no further for a great stay and perfect location!

definitely a nice place, clean, in a good location. theres really nothing to complain about. also very few characteristic features, but if youre mainly looking for a low-budget place to stay in the center, this place is really a good option. will recommend this to anyone going to prague.

It was probably the best hostel I have ever stayed in. The beds were great, the rooms were new and clean, and the showers were excellent. Stayed in the 16 bed mixed dorm
