I traveled from the United States and my Spanish is limited. That was no problem. In addition, they were very accommodating. I was to stay in a dorm for four, but because of my midweek booking in the off-season, I was given an empty room for three, including a private bath, for the same price for three nights. Of course, if others had arrived, they would have shared the room. The hostel is in a "real neighborhood" where working people live and shop, and transportation is easy (SUBTE or bus).
