Very clean and comfortable, in a nice quiet neighborhood. Owner is friendly and warm and communicates effectively in a charming patois, with backup from her daughter, who gave us a fantastic orientation to Dubrovnik. It took us about 30 minutes to walk to the old city.

Anna & husband -the owners were very welcoming with a cold drink on their verandah when we arrived. We loved staying here so booked an extra nite after our 2 nod day which wasn't a problem. Very hard to find despite directions given on website but this is due to being located up a lane way. We asked a few locals once off the local bus who assisted.
We were a group of 6 young travelers staying just one night. The house is in nice area, 20 minutes walk from city walls. Our rooms were clean, we could use the kitchen with fridge, terrace... The only problem is that is not a classical hostel - it is a house where an old but nice couple lives and rents rooms. If you want to party after 11 pm, you will get in trouble. I have to admit that we drunk more than we should have had but an absolute silence is usually not expected in hostels...
Our experience here was absolutely great, we have nothing but good words towards the old couple and their son and their beautiful house and garden
We loved staying here! The whole family made us feel very welcome, even providing us with a cold drink when we arrived! And Ante even drove us to the airport when we left! The house is beautiful and all the facilities were very clean. Although it is a small walk from the old town, the views from the terrace make up for it! It was great to have a kitchen to use too. I would definitely recommend this hostel to anyone. Thank you!
It was nice friendly people. Not really for young people though it's a little out of the way but a good price
Very cute family that runs the place; friendly, but no english. Room was clean, but no a/c. 15 minute walk to old town and fort.
We we arrived at the hostel, which is a family house, we were greeted by the nicest old lady in Croatia. The lady immediately gave us some juice and a map of the city. In 70% Croatian and 30% English she tried to explain everything about the city to us, hilarious! Her English-speaking son runs it, so no problems with that. The hostel is located perfectly in between the harbour/bus station and old town, both at walking distance. If you do not want to pay 40 euros in the old town, stay here!
We arrived in Dubrovnik in 34 degree heat and we was quickly greeted with cold drinks on arrival at the hotel. Then the owner told us about local bus routes, places to see and restaurant to eat in. As we were only there for 2 days he told us how to best spend our time. I haven't stayed in many places who offered this type of advice. The place is very clean and the room we stayed is was very large and had a balcony with a beautiful view. I will definitely stay here again if I am in Croatia..
Great people, clean place with a good view. Definitely not a party hostel and well off the beaten path, which was great for us.
The owners/hosts were very friendly and seemed genuinely happy to have guests. Lugging luggage up the long flight of stairs up to the property was a bit tiring, but overall, I was very satisfied.
Hard to find as it is a family run private hostel. Family is lovely and facilities were pretty good. Little bit far from the main town, 30 minutes on foot and 5 minutes in a taxi but there weren't that many taxi's around so you would need to book one.
