A great experience! Beautiful views from the hostel, friendly staff. Not too far from the old town but the drive is the best part thanks to Dave, awesome driver and tour guide extraordinaire. Hi Dave!

Our stay at Hostel Dubrovnik Sunset was good. There was a kitchen in the room and we didn't have to share the room with anyone else. The view from the balcony was definitely one of my favourite. Stunning view. The hiccup was that the taxi ride from the bus station costs us EURO20, a little beyond budget. However, the stay was worth it as it kept us away from the summer crowd in the wall city.

This hostel is a bit far from Dubrovnik, not really at walking distance so you depend on the hostel shuttle which runs pretty often. The hostel itself is pretty nice, big dorms, very comfortable beds, kitchen in the dorms which is ok but can get smelly if your roommate uses a lot of garlic for his pasta sauce. They have a pool! That's pretty cool, and there are small beaches pretty close to the hostel so that's even better than being right in Dubrovnik with their crowded beaches.

The owner is at the reception all the time, he is not friendly at all. I took two cold showers while there because the water didn't heat up. No locker room, nothing to keep your belongings safe. VERY far away from old town, yes they provide shuttles for 2 euros. The driver, ALEX is awesome, very cool and friendly guy - the only positive thing about the hostel.

Do not stay at this hostel - the only decent thing is the price. The owners are a few guys who clearly can't be bothered with their guests. We arrived early and were told we couldn't check in until 3 - and then he just walked out of the room without any sort of welcome, showing us around or chatting to us about what we could do while we waited. The bar was always empty except for grumpy staff. The 'kitchen' in our room was useless as it had no pans to cook with. Worst hostel experience I've had.

The staff were very quirky and friendly and offered advice and help when required. Out of Zagreb but the hostel runs a great shuttle bus service njujunfromuninnjnjnjnjnjnnjnjnjnipjnjnujjujuunuj the hostel to old town and the bus station at 15 kuna per way. They also run sunset tours. The hostel is close to a super market and isn't too far away from a small quiet beach. The view was nice and the stoves worked. I had am enjoyable stay and would highly recommend the hostel.

It was a very comfortable stay. And it was no problem getting to the old town, bus station and even the airport, there are shuttle that leave every half an hour to an hour, so that was perfect. It was nice having a kitchen in every room as well.

The hostel was nice, clean, and comfortable with good facilities, good people staying and working there, and a good vibe. Also had a beautiful view. The only issue is the distance to town. They offer a regularly scheduled shuttle into town, but if you are the type of person who likes to plan as you go and might go back and forth multiple times in a day, then the shuttle schedule is difficult to adhere to and you'll end up taxiing, which is inconvenient and expensive. Overall recommend it.

Amazing staff, really helpful and even though its 15 mins away from town shuttle is amazing. Only bad thing is the shower which had very little water and also the fridge in our roommade super loud noises all night. Other thsn that no issues at all.

The main problem qith the histel is its location. It is really far to the city and you depend completely on the shuttle bus they have. The kitchen in the room is not a fully equipped kitchen. We had to ask for some pots and pans to boild water just for coffee. You cannot cook on that kitchen because the smell may bother the other guests. Additionally, they lied to us. We reserved a deluxe shared 4 bed dorm and actually there where 5 people in the room, it was quite busy.

we had no hot water for showers our first night here, and the shower door was also broken so did not close, but after making a complaint they offered to give us a free taxi ride to and from the town centre that night as compensation and the hot water was sorted out by the next day. The frequent shuttle bus the hostel offers is very handy as the hostel is about a 15 minute drive from the old town. Nice pool area and the rooms were clean. Relatively cheap price so you pay for what you get.

Second time here and was even bette than the first. The staff is so lovely and warm hearted. All the facilities are workin well and the location of the hostel allows to experience more than in the main center.

Joe is a really friendly and accommodating guy. He drove us around a little and we left with a hug and smiles on our faces. We also had to visit the hospital while we were there and all the staff helped us get there and back no worries. The location isn't great but the good views, a cheap and regular shuttle service and a pool make up for that. The showers were okay, hot water inconsistent. The wifi was pretty good. But sometimes took ages to connect too. Would love if the bar sold water.

This hostel is out a few miles away from the city, but a regular shuttle operates to and from the city. However, the area is off a main road, and wandering/shopping is difficult. While this lacks facilities (not entirely - it has a makeshift bar and a pool), it is extremely well run by excellent staff. The manager picked us up from the bus station as we arrived in the midst of the storm. While the staff are fairly unenthusiastic and smoke in the bar, they will go out of their way to be helpful.

Our stay at the hostel was a great way to begin our holiday- met some great people sharing our room too which was an added bonus. The shuttle bus service to and from the old town was brilliant and we used it every day. The hostel owner is great and always there to help- we went on a sunset tour one evening too which was beautiful! highly recommend!

Although it is a little outside of Dubrovnik, the shuttle bus from the hostel to Old Town is very easy and actually not a bad way to meet people. The rooms have amazing views and the rooftop pool/outdoor area is pretty fun
