The staff were really welcoming and helpful. The hostel is about a 10-15 min drive from the old city but they offer a shuttle service for 4 euros round trip all throughout the day and well into the night. The rooms were clean and nice and the pool was awesome to use while we waited to check in. There is a grocery store right near by which was great to stock up on some food as food can get expensive in Dubrovnik. We had a great stay here!

The beds in the dorm were clean, bathroom not too clean, dirty towels on the floor etc. We stayed only 1 night so it was ok except It was not possible to get a receipt after paying in cash. The beer they sell at the hostel, 0.5l for 50 KN is more than twice Croatian average. Wonderful view, and shuttle services available which probably eases the transfer to Dubrovnik as the hostel is located outside the city. Helpful staff for car parking and nice restaurant and sea access close for dinner.

Brilliant hostel. Do not be put off by its location outside of town, the shuttle buses run so regularly and so cheaply (£3 return), that is is absolutely no issue - even for a night out (buses run at 1am, 3am, 7am). The rooms are clean, with some cooking facilities and the one i was in had a brilliant view into the bay. The staff were always helpful and knowledgeable. Good pool, common room with table tennis table and tv and bar. Would one hundred percent recommend.

Fantastic hostel run by some very friendly and helpful people (especially Josip who went above and beyond to help). The location is absolutely stunning with sea views and a swimming pool and jacuzzi upstairs. Very chilled, has a great bar and the shuttle to take you to town is ace. Very close to the sea where there is a great restaurant and a market. Atmosphere was one of the best I've encountered!

The hostel is not "in" Dubrovnik, but it is in a beautiful little village 20mins away in the shuttle bus, which runs regularly to and from the hostel. It is in fact well worth taking the time to relax in the bay that the hostel overlooks - far quieter and more convenient than the bathing areas in town. The guys that run the place are cool chaps and very helpful.

Staff were very nice, helpful and good crack. Airport transport was very handy as it picked us up at airport and dropped us straight to the door of the hostel. Shuttle bus was very handy and cheap into the actual town itself and went very frequently. Pool and sunbathing area at hostel was nice and bedrooms were clean with good AC.

Really nice hostel, lovely people and you can get a shuttle to and from the town centre/bus station which is good because it is quite far out. Lovely view, close to the sea and shops for necessities close by.

Hostel with a killer view. Though its a little far off Dubrovnik (around 15 mins), they have excellent shuttle services to and fro the city. The staff, especially Joe and Dave, were extremely helpful and nice. Loved our stay there

Staff here were really friendly and helpful. Great shuttle service so didn't matter wasn't in city centre. Mini kitchen in every room and good air con. Unfortunately wifi only works in common area. This place would be perfect if they added a bar

The hostel is a bit far from the old city and therefore cost much less than the hostels in the old city. People might think that the distance is a bad thing but it's a great place! The view is outstanding, there's a supermarket close by and most important- a beautiful beach where you can swim. rent a kayak or just walk around and chill only 10 minutes walking from the hostel. The staff are really nice and friendly, always trying to help and the shuttle service is really convenient.

Be aware- the hostel is a good 20-25 min drive from Old Town and the shuttle buses are rarely on time. BUT the hostel is modern, cool and clean (except common areas which smell of smoke). Its also near a good shop, restaurant and the sea Joe is very helpful and I enjoyed his dry sense of humour which some mistake as being rude! All rooms are ensuite and have fridge and hob which was great, but don't get too excited about the pool which was dirty/ closed when I was there. No lockers in the room

Excellent friendly an helpful staff. Great trip to Mount Srd. Pick up from bus station and the shuttle bus were great (and needed as out its quite a way out).

The fact the hostel is a little bit out of the main city doesn't even matter, the shuttle service is great, super regular! It was a shame we couldn't use the pool during our stay. The rooms all have a mini kitchen and big bathroom, super comfy beds. Everything was really great! Thanks for having us!

Excellent staff, friendly and helpfull. They gave us important information about tours and the town. Clean and supplied kitchen. A store is also in the reach on foot. Beautiful view and beach 20min on foot. Shuttle to the town takes off every hour and a ride is only about 20min to the Old town - depending on traffic jam. We met a lot of interesting young people all over the world. The best three days in Dubrovnik!

Although this hostel is a bit out of the way, they've got a great shuttle system that is cheap and gets you downtown quickly. The view from my balcony was quite stunning! The pool was a great addition, as well as a decent bar with cheap beer. What made this hostel was the people, it was a really great atmosphere to mix and mingle with fellow travellers. My only real concern was that they didn't have lockers for your valuables, they did have a safe but I personally prefer a personal locker.

Great hostel with excellent facilities (wifi, bar, table tennis, bathrooms in all the dorm rooms, air con and even a pool/spa) and atmosphere just outside of Dubrovnik Old Town! Love the hostel shuttle service that runs regularly (all day and night) to and from the old town and bus/ferry terminal! Big shout out to Joe and Alex-excellent hosts and awesome sunset tour! Only down side for us was that the common area is also a smoking area and as non-smokers the smell was pretty overwhelming at times.

Overall, a decent hostel. It was quite far from the Old City, but the shuttle was convenient so it wasn't an issue really. The only negative things were that the pool was closed (for cleaning, I think? That's understandable, but it was closed basically the whole time I was there), the WiFi didn't really make it upstairs that well, and the staff smoked inside (That's probably just a Croatian thing I'm not used to). Rooms were great though!

Hostel Dubrovnik sunset was a great hostel a little way out from the old city. There was a regular shuttle service that ran every hour from early to late for 4 euro return per person. The rooms were really clean and air conditioned - we had a lovely balcony which was a major plus! The pool was awesome we didn't use it much though! The staff were extremely friendly and helpful if you needed information. A few amazing restaurants only 5-10 minute walk down to the port! Would definitely stay again!

This hostel is brilliant although a distence away from the old City however the hostel transport is really cheap and very regular so this is not s problem. The location is beautiful and has a feel of a small fishing village, the locals in this area are very friendly and prices for everything so much cheaper than inside the walls. Also the THE STAFF ARE BRILLIANT!!! From Joe who runs it to the shuttle bus and transfer drivers they are friendly and will do anything to help you out. GO TEAM

Hostel Sunset Dubrovnik isn't in Dubrovnik and is a good 20 minute drive if the shuttle service picks you up on time or squeezes you into the van after a disorganised allocation of spaces. We stayed in Dubrovnik 5 nights and not once was our bathroom cleaned, the kitchen was poorly supplied and wifi doesn't work anywhere but reception. The pool area was closed our entire stay. We booked a shuttle for 5:45 and 15 minutes later we had to wake up our driver from the weird staffroom. Dont stay here.
