No common room just a bar that is unmanned&a lounge that you're not supposed to really use. This means no real atmosphere Far out of town,a 'shuttle' does run but not as frequently as it could and if breaks down they use cars which means you will most likely miss out at some point The rooms are quite nice, they seem like they used to be self contained apartments that were turned into dormsThere are balconies that run around the whole building The staff are ok, not too helpful ¬ very talkative.

I stayed at Hostel Dubrovnik Sunset last week. The room I stayed in was with nice balcony and fantastic view. Room was spacious, very clean and comfortable. Hostel is not in the center of Dubrovnik but it's not a problem because shuttle that connects hostel to the Old Town works perfect. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Value for money 10/10. I would definitely recommend everyone to stay here.

This hostel is ok, it's a converted hotel a loooong way from the city center. Expect to pay 2 euro for a one way transfer to the old city. The staff are good guys but not very knowledgable and therefore not that helpful. In general the atmosphere is kinda weird, but it is the cheapest you will get for this city.

Hostel is lacking any social atmosphere and character. Location is about 15 minutes outside of Dubrovnik, which is reflected in the lower price. Shuttle was always 10 to 15 minutes late. Staff is friendly and helpful.

This hostel is actually in Zaton, a small town 8km north of Dubrovnik. It's a very pretty location, the balconies overlook a long bay and steep hills around and its cheap for Dubrovnik. They run a shuttle bus into town throughout the day and into the early hours of the morning so you can still hit the town. The reception people came across as pushy and the bar was a bit dead. But most of all they should provide breakfast since the shops are a ten minute walk away and fairly poorly stocked.

Hostel is located very far outside the city. The shuttle is good to get in and out but we did wait for 2 hours when we arrived for it to come, apparently it was full already so it never stopped to pick us up/let us know. No common room so difficult to meet other people. Private kitchenettes and bathrooms are in each room, AC keeps the rooms cool. There is no bar (closed last year we were told) and no common room.

Location was very far away and shuttles were infrequent - ie every 2-4 hours, and costs 2 euros eah way. No proper common area, no bar. Each dorm room had a small kitchenette like a studio apartment. No social activities, no breakfast available and limited assistance from staff. Located in quiet residential area with only 1 small shop about 10 minute walk away. I would not recommend this unless you are only looking for a very cheap option.

The hostel was very far out of the old town, and whilst this was partly solved by a reduced coach fare, they stopped after 9pm and infrequent. This meant coming back from the Old Town at night was met by a very expensive cab fare. Facilities such as air conditioning, a fridge, and a TV within the room were all not working. Whilst this was mentioned to the staff, they were insufficient with dealing with this request. The staff were friendly, but weren't as informative as I hoped.

Awesome environment, nice staff, very happy to help you. It was a small hostel so everyone became close quickly and went out together. Only downside was the location as it was so far away from the city and the last hostel shuttle was at 1 am so you couldnt really go out unless you wanted to fork out an expensive cab ride home.

It was a great experience staying in the hostel. As soon as I arrived I felt very welcomed and I felt very friendly atmosphere. The staff are very proactive, friendly and it feels like you are part of the family. I could feel the vibe and there is a nice chill out room and had a nice chilled drink. All sorts are nearby the hostel, local shop, restaurant and beach is very close. There is plenty of things to do and the staff will tell you things you need to know and more.

Whilst some of the rooms were quite nice over looking the bay, mine was quite dark, with no balcony and did not look like it had been properly cleaned for a while with spider webs and a fair amount of dirt. The shower in my room did not work too well either. The main shuttle is only a 8 seater and for a large hostel if there are lot of people getting on or off you may not get a seat. It is also a shame the bar is closed and it is a fair walk to the shops to get food. Not sure I would stay again.

No bar or pool as advertised location is a bit out of the way but it was nice to get away from the tourists in the town and the shuttle service runs ok.The hostel needs a common area as it was difficult to meet other people staying there.

Poor location but to be fair the lads give you a lift to the old town.

Had such a fantastic time at this hostel we extended our stay! Brilliant staff who are very willing to help you with tips or any queries. Hostel is clean, homely and has a fantastic atmosphere. Location is fantastic as it is away from the busy, tourist-filled Old Town and the views are a dream. Would 100% recommend this hostel to everyone as it really lets you enjoy Dubrovnik properly.

This is one of the best hostels I've ever been and I travel a lot around the Europe. The stuff is so funny and really helpfull. They are always there and they are very polite and frendly. Hostel is very nice and perfectly clean and it's near Dubrovnik. This was a first time that I was in Croatia and I am thrilled. All the best about this place and the time I spent there. I will come back for shure. ;)

Having read the reviews and discovered the location was just outside Dubrovnik I was not disappointed, at only 2euros for a transfer it was very good value for money and the staff/driver couldn't have been more helpful. There is also a supermarket down the road which has everything you would need when travelling, Alcohol! Would highly recommend this to anyone looking to for a cheap place to stay and also that are looking to meet people whilst travelling. I will definitely be back if in the area

This was one of the best hostels I've stayed in! Beautiful view, beautiful nature. The disadvantage of this hostel is that is not located in the center of Dubrovnik, but it is not problem at all thanks to the excellent connection by shuttle buses. Rooms are clean and tidy and the staff is friendly and helpful!
