I really enjoyed my time at ELF - the staff and all people there were extremely friendly and helpful. Common room during breakfast was a bit crowded, but that's probably the only thing that could be improved there. Dorms are quite spacious and clean, and so are the bathrooms. It's definitely a good price-to-quality ratio. Looking forward to the next time in Prague - maybe it'll be warm enough to have a bbq party at the terrace.

Great little hostel, walking distance to everything, friendly and helpful staff. Kitchen and bathrooms were good, but the internet and wifi were difficult and unreliable. Other than that I would definitely recommend Hostel Elf!

The Double Bed Private Room was way too small. Even in Hongkong the rooms were bigger. There was no wardrobe to put the clothes into or something similar; only a table and two stools. The mattresses were very thin and there was only one electrical socket in the room (used for lamp). In total there are not enough showers and toilets. All in all the stay was totally overpriced. On the plus side the staff was very friendly and helpful :-)

One of my favorite hostels in the world. The best thing is the common room, which is set up absolutely perfect for people to meet each other. While it's a 15 minute walk to the centre of town, this is actually an advantage because you're not surrounded by tourists all the time, and there are actually cheap places to drink and eat nearby. Also very easy to find from Florenc bus station.

good hostel, friendly staff, nice atmosphere, 5-10min walk to the main train station, 20min walk into main heart of town, and a few restaurants and delis just down the road.

everything was OK, the only problem was the WiFi connection. Almost did not work, but I think that was a temporary Little problem I would recommend this hostel and I would like to go again.

My stay was quite pleasant. I was in 11 beds room and it was ok for 2 weeks. However the cleanliness (kitchen too) was ok but not greeat, they haven't warm duvet and internet had several troubles. On the other hand, i met a lot of people and enjoyed a lot for their event. I could recommend this hostel.

A nice place and good for the price, but it is a little out there. You have to walk a few hundred meters in a sketchy part of town to get to the metro. The hostel itself is great though.

The facilities in the hostel were excellent, fantastic kitchen as well as a second kitchenette upstairs and wifi in rooms. Its a bit far from everything, about a 15-20min walk from the main station and about 1/2-45mins to the centre of town. The bathrooms were very clean however did have a weird smell, almost musty or mouldy and the double bed we had was quite thin so it hurt our shoulders after a few nights.

The hostel is very cute but actually I didn't like the distance for the city centre. And the breakfest in the mornig is a total mess! Too many guests for such a small space. No place to sit, no mugs for everyone, people starving attacking the food, was horrible. I think maybe they should make the breakfest time longer, cause everyone was worried about the hour.

The Hostel itself was very good, seemed a nice fun place to be. The BBQ stuff looked like it would be alot of fun in the summer. The hostel was a little noisy at night and the staff were a little unfriendly but I did enjoy my stay

I liked this hostel very much. One of the best hostels I have visited. Staff is very friendly, helpful and fun to chat with. Hostel Elf is not a dull place, colours in the walls and paintings and all give the place a nice look. Free breakfast and coffee is a very good addon and so are those free internet computers downstairs. They also have two nice looking kitchens (which I didnt use) in which I think you can do anything you need on your trip. Highly recommended.

Hostel Elf is a solid choice when visiting Prague. It is about a 15-20 minute walk to the city center, which was close enough for me (I never took a tram). It is a large hostel, so with that comes the usual drawbacks (or positives, depending on what you are looking for). I never had an issue with the showers (there was always one open when I wanted one), and there was always hot water (a few showers smelled a bit musty, but others were fine). Poor internet connectivity, great kitchen.
