For the price I expected to be a little closer to the downtown. The room we were in was clean and the wireless worked. I just felt okay about the place but had no major complaints.

I had a solid experience at this hostel. It was clean, not too loud, good facilities and friendly staff. Location is close enough to the city center if you are willing to use public bus and subway.

Nothing too special, very smokey in the common room.. Wifi doesn't really work. Staff not really helpful. Location not that great.

Not enough showers / toilets for the amount of guests. Large rooms with lockers (need own lock or hire). Good location, easy to find. Good value for the price.

Good funky hostel. It is possible to check in for 24hrs, I did it 7am so it was so helpful to me. Very near to international bus station. Bit far from city centre but that's why I liked. Price with breakfast. Wi-Fi did not work well so I could not plan my trip well for next place.

The hostel is close to the bus and train station and only a short walk to town, ask the reception for the fastest route! Free breakfast is awesome, as well as free tea and coffee and cheap beers that are always cold. There is also a great common area to enjoy the all of the above and meet other travelers. The 11 bed dorm was really bright and spacious and everything was always clean, even the two communal kitchens. We would highly recommend this hostel to anyone visiting Prague.

Affordable, okay location, great atmosphere! A really unique hostel that I would definitely recommend/visit again! There is a cool outside terrace for drinking where people congregate, good spot to meet people if you're a solo traveller. Staff are very helpful and approachable. The rooms are spacious and homely and the kitchen/Internet facilities are great. Oh, and very easy to find from the station! Only bad thing, breakfast is a bit naff.

The ELF Hostel was pretty cool to meet people and socialize a little bit. They have the most amazing breakfast and offer free BBQs on the terrace at night, where you can chat and have some great Czech beers with the other guests. Personally I prefer hostels which are not directly in the downtown, which is why I gave the location a good rating even though it takes you some time to walk into the city center from there. If you're going to Prague, I'd highly recommend the ELF Hostel.

Fun hostel with cheap beer and a great atmosphere, makes it so easy to meet people on your travels! But make sure you take your breakfast sandwich downstairs and make a toastie instead!

I enjoyed my stay in ELF hostel very much! :-) The staff was friendly, the hostel had a nice common room with lots of couches and tables so you could hang there (makes you feel at home) and the breakfast was good. Also, the rooms and the showers/toilets were cleen. I appreciated that very much, it made me feel comfortable. I would recommend this hostel to everyone who likes to meet other travellers in Prague.

If you want a party hostel in Prague, Elf is the way to go. We weren't looking for that vibe, but still enjoyed the one night there before we moved somewhere a little quieter. It's on a main road so it can be a little noisy at night, there's a big deck out the front where you can eat breakfast (which was great), drink and meet the other guests. Staff very friendly and helpful, bathrooms surprisingly clean, though too few for the number of guests. Rooms clean and spacious.

The BEST hostel I have ever stayed in. It's got a brilliant atmosphere with people sat out on the roof terrace drinking and chatting all day and into the night. If you want to party and meet people stay here. Also the breakfast is excellent, with a selection of breads, hams and cheese. It is kept extremely clean and the rooms are nice and spacious. The staff are very friendly and always happy to help. If I was to visit Prague again I wouldn't consider staying anywhere else.

A little far from the old town (15-20 min walk to old square), but this place is worth it. Lots of character, and cool common areas (as well as a nice patio) where you can meet fellow travellers. They also do a free BBQ every few nights, which kicks off the night nicely. Laundry, at 200 CZK, is kind of expensive, though.

Things i liked about this hostel was the kitchen, as it was easy to meet people there, the free internet and the breakfast. The hostel was about a 15min walk in to town, although it was a very easy walk to get to the train station.
