A very basic hostel. We arrived and quickly decided we would leave the following morning. There was no atmosphere, no communal area and the town was dull. It´s absolutely fine to break a journey as long as you don´t expect a lot. Breakfast is good and plentiful. The staff are all very friendly and are happy to help with anything.

When we arrived they did not have our booking recorded, they didn´t speak english and we had to get the guy from the hostel round the corner to try and help us out. Luckily they had a spare room so we stayed there. The room was clean and had a fan and a/c but the electric shower gave you electric shocks when turning it off. When we went to check out they didn´t have a record of our deposit so paying was an issue. Breakfast was good though

Nice hostel across the street from the old busstation. The girl in the reception doesn't speak any english and they have no lockers for the valuables. Pool was pretty nice though.. We ordered the free pick-up from the airport, but nobody came to pick us up, so ended up taking a taxi., but got the money we spent back from the hostel. Also ended up taking the Pantanal tour with them, even though they have some pretty bad reviews online, and ended up having a blast!

We could not wait to get out of this hostel after we saw bed bugs crawling on the bed. We had not choice but to switch rooms to another that seemed bug free but was equally disgusting with noticeably stained sheets with holes in them, dirty floors and a ceiling fan that looked like it might fall off the ceiling while spinning and making terrible noise. It was overall an shabby hostel which did not feel very safe and was also far from the bus station. I would not recommend this place at all.

staff excellent, provided free collection from the bus station. very helpful when booking pantanal excursion- not too pushy like other agents we met. we ended up choosing their tour to the pantanal and had an amazing trip. private rooms are very cheap compared to other places in brazil. rooms were clean and safe but poorly maintained ie paint work and fittings. would recommend it for a short stay before or after the pantanal
