Fantastic hostel with friendly, helpful staff and a great atmosphere. Loved the communal areas. Only downside is the bathrooms - they're pretty small - but all the pluses more than made up for that.

The hostel was fantastic, everything a backpacker wants in a hostel. Clean, safe and great atmosphere. It also has great perks, such as 15 minutes free phone calls to anywhere in the world. There are 3 computers with internet access. You get a free glass of wine every night. There are plenty of tours and excursions on offer. Each night there was an activity, my friend and I took part in a ´How to Make Mate´course! Great asados too. Would definitely recommend this hotel without hesitation.

Staff is friendly and helpful. The bathrroms and facilities are very clean for the amount of poeple using the bathrooms. Limited amount of bathrooms for the people in the hostel, so hence it is normal to wait in the morning. The breakfast is excellent. Great common areas. You have a free glass of wine per day, access to fresh grapes and free access to the laundry machine which is a bonus. The only negative comment I would have to say is that the beds are not too comfortable.

+ Helpful staff + All facilities you need or would like + All shared areas cleaned twice a day + Washing machine + soap - Power outage in one of the buildings due to rain (makes me think of poor maintenance) - Pool water didn't look fresh

Stay here! Beautiful hostel, tons of common areas including a rooftop terrace with comfy loungers, a shady patio complete with hammocks and a small swimming pool (Which we noticed they drain and refill daily). Staff are all super helpful and multilingual, and are happy to organize activities. Free wine tasting lesson, not to mention free glass of wine every night, were definite highlights!

This is the kind of hostel you would always find on your trips. I strongly recommend this hostel to everyone. I consider myself an experienced traveler, been all over the world and seen lots and lots of different hostels. This is by far the best I-ve ever been. Character, staff, cleanliness, security, facilities are over the top. Great management, always interesting activities for free are organized on daily basis, very nice and informative. Bravo

We had a great two weeks here. Good: amazing breakfast including crepes and pastries. Free laundry and other good facilities. Staff very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable especially Anna. Lovely pool and social terrace. Activities every day or night and many were free. Well equiped kitchen. Opposite great supermarket. Bad: our room was ordinary - quite noisy some nights because windows open onto terrace, quite hot too. Location is average. About 15 minutes to Plaza Independencia.

Hostel Empedrado was Amazing!! After Staying in Buenos Aries for a week I was ready for something more relaxing, and I got it!! They Lady at the frount desk named Anna was very friendly and helpful. She knew the city very well and could answer any questions we had. Every night there was something going on at the hostel. They was cooking classes, wine tasting, pizza parties and bbq´s. We wanted to stay longer but the hostel was booked out!! I guess that says it all !!!

Hostel empedrado helped me have a wonderful time in Mendoza. The breakfast was very weak, sometimes no fruit, no milk, just juice and coffee and pastries. but you could request your glass of wine anytime every evening. They were very helpful with activities. The bathrooms were very nice. I would definitely return.

There was one member of staff who was fantastic. I can't remember her name, but she was European, with blond hair, and any information you needed from local buses to bike hire to trips, she was just excellent. The evening events were simply excellent, and very user friendly.

A really friendly and helpful place. We really appreciated how much they offered travellers, such as free use of the washing machines, general advice and even a plug adaptor! Anna on reception was so lovely. We would definitely recommend staying here.

This hostel has literally everything you need! I am sad I didnt stay long enough to take advantage. The reception staff (a really sweet Polish girl, sorry cant remember the name!) was really helpful. Has a really cool hangout area back by the pool as well to relax after a day out. Would highly recommend.

We were here for Christmas, and signed up for the rooftop BBQ which was the best BBQ in a hostel ever! Food just kept coming, and they added a nice touch by having a Christmas present for every resident (a mini bottle of wine) followed by fireworks. It's a bit of a walk to get into town, but for a nice hostel, it's worth it :-)

Great hostel with great facilities. Rooms are a little basic but there are so many other facilities here that you spend hardly any time in your room. Lots of outdoor areas, plunge pool, hammocks, great kitchen facilities, TV room, free washing machines, lots of bathrooms. They have events on each evening so people can get to know each other. Very near to supermarkets and centre. Staff are very helpful and there is a reall relaxed atmosphere here. Would recommend highly.
