The staff are super friendly and very keen to help where they can! The tours are great and the free wine/breakfast is awesome! A great vibe and a great way to meet people. The main door to our room would not close properly and therefore all belongings that could not fit into the lockers were on display for all to see.. The upstairs bathroom was desperate for a clean but the 3 on the downstairs level were ok and I used them instead. Would stay here again if my room door shut properly
great breakfast, good location, nice tours lockers were all broken in our room, no A/C
Its a great hostel. The dorms are not better than average and the fan makes a lot of noise, but the breakfast is great (pancakes :)) and the backyard is really nice and even has a little pool. You can do laundry which is appreciated. The atmosphere was really good and for me it was easy to meet nice people: free wine between 7-8 every day helps and so do the dinners arranged by the hostel.
free wine hour was great. people would congregate around the pool during the lead up, drinking a couple of beers. met some fantastic people and had 13 of us on our own DIY biking around the vineyard trip. great time in Mendoza. only 10min walk into town and big supermarket 200m away. got to be a bit careful around the city during the night - heard a few stories of people being almost mugged - even as close as 100m from the hostel at midnight. had a great stay however
Nice hostel, a bit far from city center. nice pool. weak a.c.
Amazing staff; full of knowledge and energy. The morning eggs was a nice touch.
Very nice hostel, only few blocks from the centre and in a very quiet area. Big lockers in the rooms and some at the reception, staff very helpful and friendly. Common areas are super, big kitchen and garden with small pool and barbecue area - try the asado when you're there ;)
Very social hostel wtih great tours to vineyards and horse back riding. I definitely would stay there again.
Staff was amazing, super helpful. She even gave us a bus pass because we didn't have coins. A very welcoming place. The people are awesome. The facilities need updating badly but the environment was great. Breakfast was the best! Crepes made to your order!
Wow, what great bilingual staff. Facilities have everything you'll need, including washing machine on premise. Breakfast was average to above average. You eat and hang out in a courtyard that is covered, literally, by a malbec grape vine terrace, with hammocks and a mini pool to relax in. excursions are super easy to book with the staff and they offer very cheap and very delicious all you can eat pizza and asado at the hostel on different nights.
Great hostel! The grape tree live roof, the free wine every night, the free laundry, the cool staff! Definitely recommended!
We booked for 5 days and we were glad we could leave on the second because the room is on the terrace and its receive sun all day long so its like an oven or a sauna. The air conditioner doesnt work properly and we tried to ask staff to fix the problem but they said it was already fixed. Everything on the room is old, ugly and broken: the roof has pieces falling down and the bathroom has sink and faucet broken. Staff are not helpful and are not kind. I think its the worst hostel I ever stayed.
Excellent hostel, great staff with a wide range of daily tours etc available, free laundry, free wine, excellent free breakfast, and Asado well worth it.
I really liked this hostel - free use of the washing machine, free wine in the evening, good breakfast, roof terrace and an excellent BBQ on offer several nights of the week.
We booked a private double with air conditioning but the AC didn't work. The hostel was aware of the problem but didn't let us know in advance and didn't immediately offer a discount. In general, the staff seemed uninterested in the guests. Our bathroom was uncomfortably small (practically impossible to sit on the toilet as it was so close to the wall), and the shower leaked lots, which made it quite unpleasant. The omelette and pancakes offered at breakfast were good. Dorms might be better.
A great hostel far enough north of the five main plazas to escape the awful business of the center, but close enough to easily get anywhere (we even walked from the main bus terminal). Excellent staff, plenty of common rooms to share with others or have all to yourself (the roof deck is spectacular at night). We met some great people here. Full breakfast, mostly self serve, with the option of having crepes or eggs made for you! The downstairs bathroom in the hall is the best. Would stay again!
A beautiful hostel to complement a beautiful stay in mendoza. The staff were incredibly helpful and the traveler's that pass through all have amazing stories to share.
A great communal area with a mini pool and many tables makes it easy to relax and recover as well as meet new people. The kitchens are well stocked, you can catch up on laundry and the wifi is reliable. The rooms are ok; all clean. The free daily glass of wine is a nice touch.
Nice place and a great BBQ!!!!
