Great hostel... Not fancy but staff are great and hostel very clean!! Again, not a party hostel, but very social and one of my favorite common areas of all the hostels I've stayed at in South America. Will definitely recommend to others x

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Beds and linens weren't as clean and comfortable as I thought they should be for the price. Breakfast is decent, kitchen is big, and location is decent. They let us use their facilities after check-out which was great.

Very cute - great atmosphere - not too loud - but great for meeting people who are backpacking through SA.

This hostel was full of wonderful friendly people, from the staff to the travelers. It was very popular when I stayed, being fully booked within 2 weeks! There is an amazing guy who makes dulce de leche-filled crepes in the morning, and the staff know Mendoza like the back of their hands. Free wine every day, beautiful open-rooftop, and sugar-sweet grapes from their backyard grapevine (if you can get a hold of them!) STAY HERE IF YOU CAN GET A BOOKING!!!!!

This is a very nice hostel and a good place to meet people. The staff is very helpful and there's bbq nights, pizza night and lots of other activities. I had a really good time here and would recommend it to others. Oh, and the breakfast is really good and there's free wine every night!

Hostel Empedrado was great! The staff was very helpful and arranged a canopy ziplining excursion for us the night before we wanted to go. Location is a quick walk to the main center of the city. The atmosphere is lovely, lots of friendly international travelers all hanging out in the many community spaces - a HUGE kitchen and eating area, living room with couches and a tv, two public computers, outdoor hammock area and rooftop patio area. Breakfast was great - bread rolls, pastries, crepes!

The doubles room could use a spruce up, not great value for money as a couple.

Incredible hostel. Great for meeting people and big lockers in every room and by the reception so all your stuff is secure. The staff are so friendly and helpful, when we arrived smelly and starving from our overnight bus we were greeted with pancakes for breakfast! They have lots of free activities throughout the week which are brilliant for learning more about Argentine culture: wine tasting, how to make empanadas, mate class and basic Spanish lessons. Lack of toilets is a real problem though!

Highly recommended. One of the best breakfasts in SA. Glass of wine everyday and grape picking. Also free use of washing machine! Some of staff are helpful. They have Spanish lessons and BBQ's on certain nights.

Liked. Great hostel in a good location close to town and a big super market. Amazing breakfast and the big grape vine and free glass of vino each night were a nice touch. Disliked - Small and cramped bathrooms, beds were not the most comfy.

Hostal is really good located and the facilities are good. Moreover the free glass of wine and other activities are cool. We just stayed there for 2 nights and unfortunately there were some party people in the hostal, which made a lot of noise till the morning hours. I wouldn't recommend it for those who just look for a place to have a good sleep.

Was travelling alone. Took a private room upstairs. Was very clean, which is my number one priority with hostels. The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere very fun but also quiet upstairs which is good. Only downside : i had my private bathroom, but was unable to take a shower in the morning because water pressure was awful and it was very cold. Apart from that, i would recommend!

Everyone on the staff was fantastic and helpful. Breakfast was delicious - plenty of pastries and pancakes and eggs. The free evening activities were fun and I appreciated the complimentary wine each night. The common areas are big, especially the patio with the grape arbor and pool. And the downstairs bathrooms are great.

Its a nice place, very quiet ideal for those who look for a good place to rest. The organization is exellent, we just have a missunderstood with one of the activities but anyways staff is very helpfull and friendly. The place was always clean, beds are made all the time and bathrooms most of the time were in perfect conditions. The locations is good but at night is not very nice to walk around but in the hostel i felt very secure. I so much recomend the place except for party people.
