I´ve stayed in many hostels, this one in def in my top5. Staff was great, always smiling and willing to help you with whatever you need. facilities were excellent. Lockers in the room. My 6beddorm was spacious. And when you have an afternoon or nightbus you can put you whole backpack in lockers at the computer area after check out. Breakfast is amazing. Pancakes, fruit and eggs for breakfast. A big 10- ( because nobody is perfect ;)!

Decent hostel, really helpful staff. One of the better hostel breakfasts I've had (crepes w/ dulce de leche, eggs, fruit, in addition to the usual bread/pastries and marmalade). Top floor shower is tiny and water spills all over bathroom. Big kitchen, nice common areas. Good wifi, which reached my top floor room. Supermarket conveniently right down the street. Slightly out of the way to main streets/plazas. Solid hostel.

The staff at hostal empedrado were very knowledgeable and helpful. The hostal is clean and bathrooms are large and comfortable. The hostal is a great place to meet people because there are nightly events like wine tasting or empanada making. I would definitely stay there again!

Great people who are very lenient for pre check in and post check out use of facilities. Close to supermarket, lots of bathrooms, and the breakfast is the best at a hostel in Argentina! This full breakfast is worth good money. Nightly activities, some of which were free (e.g. empanada making class!) Good relaxed vibe and lots of nice people, not too loud or crazy. You have to make your own bed, but you also get free laundry, so that's a wash. Grapes to pick in the courtyard, asado to use etc fun

I liked this hostel.. But locks in bathrooms and in rooms are pretty old so sometimes it was hard to lock your door .. Other than that - excellent hostel in Mendoza with nice roof on top where you can relax with bottle of wine

It was great staying there because you simply feel welcome. I really liked how you can pick your own grapes on the patio and that they organized all kinds of different things like a movie night with wine and cheese or horseback riding at sunset. I would definitely go back there. Though it is helpful to book way in advance because there is a high chance you won't get a room if you don't.

Best breakfast I've encountered so far, the staff are lovely and the nightly activities are always good to join in on if you wish. Super helpful with info on the area, but, as always make sure you always do a bit of your own research too. Very spacious hostel with lots of room to relax. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay

I stayed in Hostel Empedrado and it was such a great experience. The only downside to this hostel is that it is somewhat far from the center of the city, yet it took us maybe 30 minutes to walk or a 5 minute taxi ride to the Mendoza bus terminal.Otherwise everything went very smoothly with our stay. Also if you are going to stay in this hostel BRING A LOCK! I forgot to bring a lock, and my luggage had to go into the luggage room, which was fine, but I would rather of had my personal items locked.

Thank you very much for your review!! We also are 10 min walk from the main squeare of Mendoza and there are individual lockers in the hostel close to the front desk and in each room. There's a place one block from us where you can buy lockers if you don't have one. We hope to see you and your friends again some day and you are more than welcome anytime Cheers! Had such an awesome time hanging out at the hostel and picking grapes! Didn't want to go out at night because it was more fun and relaxing just hanging out instead. :)

Great and helpful staff, we asked them a million questions and they never lost patience with us. Super clean, someone was always around cleaning. Delicious breakfast with eggs, gorgeous outdoor patio with grape vines where you could pick your own for free, and they had hammocks! And a sun roof! Hostel empedrado was my favorite of all the hostels I have been to so far. It was just a great place to be. Lots of cool people and nightly activities too. Wish I never had to leave!
