really is the best place to stay in essaouira......staff are friendly and fun and really go the extra mile, rooftop terrace just being finished as we were there, which will be a bonus. We stayed in a private double and was clean and had hot water, and was cleaned every day. Free internet, tv, chill out area and bar all make this a brilliant place to get to know other people and have an amazing time in essaouira. really is the best place to stay in essaouira......staff are friendly and fun and really go the extra mile, rooftop terrace just being finished as we were there, which will be a bonus. This hostel cliams to be a party hostel. If you call smoking weed with 40 year olds a party, then your set, otherwise, this place it lame. We went downstairs in the morning to find people asleep on the couches in the common area and it smelt really bad of weed and cigarettes. no luggage room to leave our packs in for the day and the lockers in the room were all broken. Absoute disgrace! The place is FULL OF BED BUGS! They were well aware of the problem but failed to advise us when we arrived and put us in a room full of bed bugs. They promised another client to get treatment cream but failed to do so. They lied and said the terrace area was going to be "ready the next day" but clealy it wasn't. Expectations were high from the great reviews this Hostel has received. Can't pass on to many positives.. place is pretty cramped with the terrace still closed off. Very friendly, easy-going staff. Comfortable, chilled-out common room. There were three of us travelling together and booked a 6-bed dorm, but was only us in there.
