We loved staying at Hostel Essaouira because it was a great, chill place to crash at the end of a long day and the staff was super friendly! Also, it wasn't too far into the medina that it was hard to find/ dangerous to get to at night. When we go back to Essaouira, we will definitely be staying here again!

Brilliant hostel. Such friendly staff. Came and collected us from town to bring us to the hostel. Great atmosphere, good people staying there. Would definitely stay there again!

This is a great basic hostel! There aren't heaps of bathrooms but we were never in a hurry so that was ok. The room we stayed in was quite full of beds but there were big lockers so a lot of people were able to put their bags in them. It's a little confusing to find, we always got lost, but the town in general is confusing so I think it'd be the same anywhere. The staff were very nice and the whole place was clean and nice to hang out in. Essaouira itself is lovely and I hope to go back again!!

I love they Magic man,Omar,Rashida....they where great and they made my stay an amazing one.Very genuine and helpful people,I highly recommend this hostel to all traveller,especially women traveling alone.

Really good hostel in Essaouira, well located in the medina and easily to reach, the beds are comfortable, the rooms and the bathroom are clean. The stuff is funny and helpful, they succed in creating the right atmosphere for an hostel. I hope to come back to essaouira and to sleep again in this hostel.

Great hostel, friendly staff, great food.

Great hostel, right in the centre of the medina. Bit of a mission to find but well sign posted, just adds to the adventure and lets you emmerse yourself in the city. The location makes you feel like a local and once you´ve got to know the place you realise just how close everything is. Magic man and the rest of the crew are more than happy to help in anyway they can.

This is the best hostel in Essaouira! At first I was a little skeptical because it was pretty dark in there when I arrived, but then after just a day I realized why everyone loves this place so much. Magic man, Omar, and Rashida are awesome. They are so welcoming and just really cool, laid back people. Magic was very helpful when I had any questions. And the breakfast is really good!!! Just a really great vibe all around. The beds are comfortable and there's hot water.

The most chilling place ever ;-)

This a very cool place for relaxing and enjoying the good vibe in Essaouira. Sunny rooftop, bar, hammocks etc. Double room even has it's own fridge and tv. The manager of this hostel Magic Man is very friendly and helpful.

I enjoyed my stay here. The staff were really nice and I met some really nice European people who were also staying as guests.

Great location from the Supatours drop off point - however you need to update your street signs, there is no way they are legible if you don't know what they say. It was great to have lockers and lock provided. However i did find it a little intimadating to have several random locals just sitting around smoking, opening the main door etc. without know who on earth they were. I was just glad there was a lock on my door.

Amazing hostel and people, clean, central and quiet...what else can you ask for?

We booked with an open mind after reading mostly good reviews but the occasional disgusted one. Basically,if you want somewhere beautiful calm & relaxing, pay a bit more and go to a quiet riad. This place is exactly as we expected,it was a hostel, with a fun hostel vibe. We got a private room which was fine. The guy working there is a good guy, super relaxed but ran the place properly. We had fast wifi in our room and were able to organise to get all our washing done. We enjoyed our stay :)

my favourite hostel ive visited!! a riad stle building right in the heart of essaouira.s medina, its lovely inside with a nice lounge room with good music playing, a beautifull roof terrace with views all the way too the sea. if you want food there is a restaurant, but also there is a cooking area on the roof for communal use. the staff are the best, the guy who runs the place magic is a top guy who even gave me a private room for dorm price because they were quiet, thanks guys, see u soon!

Was great value for money. Rooms have cool colourful decor and are very comfortable and clean. Great area to chill on the roof. There are also a couple of hammocks you can relax in. Free computers and great staff. Magic man is the best. Defenetly stay here if your on a budget and want somewhere with great atmosphere.
