I rarely follow through with writing reviews but I wanted to make sure Hostel Estroril Terrazas got some credit for being a great hostel. I was traveling alone and spent 4 or 5 nights in a 4-bed dorm with private bath. The front desk is staffed 24/7 and are all super friendly and helpful. The breakfast is great--eggs to order ever morning, plus tea, coffee, various breads and fresh squeezed juice. The location--on top of a Subte stop and walking distance to highlights (San Telmo, Plaza de Mayo).
This is a nice hostel with really nice staff, the bbq and shepherds pie dinner nights were great. Be careful however as there is 2 hostels in one, the other one is Estoril Tarrazzas, on the 6th floor and this one is on the 1st floor. It is unclear on check in whether they are the same hostel or separate but we booked this one (1st floor) and were put on the 6th floor, we then had some issues with breakfast/bathrooms and access between the floors and it was very frustrating. All said a nice place
Good place, with nice staff , Wendy the atendence was really kind and helpful giving alot of tips , close to casa rosada , subway and bus stops , I liked alot my stay , clean and fair price . I recommend it to everyone , try don´t stay in the rooms in the front of streets if u have problems to sleep It is my advice , but it's nothing that takes the good impression I got from the hostel , and probably if if return to buenos aires I will still in same place.
Great hostel with an amazing breakfast and roof terrace!
I stayed for three nights. First, the location is good. The hostel is in Ave. de Mayo and Saenz Pena Metro Station is right next to the hostel. It's safe at night and you can enjoy the street view at night. Second, room are clean. Bed, sheets and pillow are clean and comfortable. Bathroom is clean and good too. Third, common area is good, breakfast is amazing. You can order how cook your egg in the morning. The view from rooftop is unforgettable. Last, staff are kind and informative.
Very central, street noisy but is normal as you are realy central. Staff is absolutely brilliant, specially Wendy and the breakfast lady. Wendy was super friendly and helpfull at all times. Her knowledge was a plus in my trip as a single traveller. Breakfast had a good sellection. The hostel is very clean. There is a roof top in the hostel that is a plus. What to say great. I highly recomend
Good hostel. Double room with shower was clean and had everything needed. Staff was really friendly, always available to help. Location was good, but there is much more things going on in Palermo, so more convenient to go out. However, it's very close to San Telmo.
2 nights private, 1 night dorm. Great location. Nice rooms, not enough electric outlets. I feel as if the staff was a little pushy to make sure I checked out like, on the dot, both checkouts. (Chill pill!) Not sure what to make of the building bc it's about 6 floors. 1st floor is hostel? 2nd-5th hotel? 6th floor... rooftop bar/lounge... which is the perfect place on a warm evening!! Loved it. And! I LOVED the breakfast! Bread, medialunas, eggs, orange juice I squeezed myself from 3 full oranges!
The staff were so nice and all the travelers were super interesting. We

The hostel was in a great location and the staff were helpful in giving directions of places to go and places to avoid. The only downside is that the lockers are very small and not in the bedrooms, they are in the common room.
I stayed here 8 days straight and came right back after a trip to Iguazú. Definitely not a Party Hostel, but great people around, the staff is friendly and helpful. Major sights within walking distance. The rooftop terrace is amazing. Strongly recommend.
This is a great hostel that we would definitely recommend! The receptionist Wendy is really friendly & helpful, it's very clean & spacious, great central location, rooftop bar & terrace on top floor.
The eggs and the crescent rolls for breakfast were awesome, great location and very friendly staff that was always willing to answer any questions that I had.
This was a fantastic place in a fab location, easy to walk to anywhere and lots of public transport right on doorstep! They had some good tours there, we did the tango show, full with lesson and dinner, it was an excellent experience and well worth the money. Staff extremely friendly!
I ended up staying here longer than planned but all the staff was so accommodating, helpful and really friendly! The hostel is clean, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, there is a nice, social living area and the breakfast is delicious! Definitely recommend
I rated everything "good" because it was definitely satisfactory, but nothing was outstanding...except the owner, a Chilean woman who will talk to you all morning and cook you breakfast! Some of the staff was new, so they didn't know much, but the experienced staff members were very helpful. However, the new staff girl who checked us in forgot to give us sheets and towels, so we slept on top of our comforters. The owner was very embarrassed when she found out. Location is excellent!
My only complaint was that there was not much of an atmosphere here. The staff were wonderfully helpful and we had scrambled eggs made for us in the morning. It was a good place to stay.
