This is a place for real travellers. If your looking to meet great people, and share in culture, language & experiences more than anything else, you will be happy here. 'the pink lady' looked after me well regardless of langauge barrier, always making effort to understand & help, Cheap Communal living at its best. No fancy curtians or linen, comfortable and warm with a kitchen and bathroom in each room, also Very close to the train station, and super easy to find.

Book this hostel only if there's the only one left available! and even then, be prepared for a "surprise", since the lady at the reception seems to have no respect for what "booking a rooom" means and implies. I arrived there, after booking and also paying the deposit, to find out that my bed was given to someone else, from a group, who hasn't made a reservation!

THE WORST HOSTEL I HAVE EVER BEEN TO, Ive traveled 46 countries so far, n never had an experience this bad, the only good things about the hostel are the proximity to the station and the price, but the place is so dirty your feet stick to the floor, the owner (who calls herself PINK LADY) is nice the first 5 min but after you pay she is so rude, shes also in permanent war with the hostel next door. NO REAL KITCHEN, only a petit fridge and a couple of cups. No knifes, soap, pots or cooking tools

The bathrooms are a little dirty but i think for the price, the hostel is ok. I recommend it if you dont have money haha.

It is definitely not worth 19€ per night!!! I stayed in Marseille for the same price and it was cleaner, friendlier, breakfast included, centrally located and more modern. I am very disappointed in the standard of the hostel.

The worst hostel I have ever slept in... I was sleeping in something like corridor between three rooms merged with kitchen. Moreover no hot water, absolutely dirty bathrooms and beds, stinky corridor, stinky staircase... My advice - pay 3 euro more and have something better or sleep at the airport - at least you save some money. I was happy it was just one night... b.t.w. - Pink Lady (owner) is rude if you don't speak french. English is for her like chinese...

easy enough to find from the station and not far which was good becaues i had a big pack, the pinklady does not speak a word of english but will persist to speak fast paced french to you. there are no lockers. and i got alot of bites but i slept next to the window. i have stayed in worse hostels. but dont eat from the resturaunt. im not fussy so i would prob stay there again but thats only becuase its the cheapest available.its not very social, each dorm is seperated and no common room.
