Communicating with the staff was always difficult because we are English speakers, and the staff only spoke French. The bathroom was tiny, which got a little gross. The wrong wifi codes were listed on the wall, so we had to go through a lot to figure out which network was right. But, other than these complaints, everything was great. The staff was really friendly, the location is just down the street from the train station, and the beds were comfortable. Good value for the price.

The woman that runs this hostel was not very helpful, she also speaks no English at all. When we arrived, we we placed in a room that was under construction, with a tiny, very dirty bathroom. The remainder of our trip was spent in another room, which was better, but the window had broken glass. The whole hostel smelled and it was set up very strange.

The hostel is easy to find, and the location is very good, just 10mins away from the Nice Train Station. However, the room is not clean, so is the kitchen and the shower room. The shower has some problems, and the room is very dark. Although the Pink Lady and the people who live there are very friendly, but the Pink Lady doesn't speak English cause some communication problem...

Never book with this hostel. Not only does the owner not speak a word of English (making any necessary communication impossible), she is incredibly unorganized with reservations. We had paid up front for 2 nights, and on the second evening, the hostel owner overbooked and evicted us. She brought in a random man to bring us to a different, cramped room 4 miles across the city. For an hour and a half, we had to schlepp all our luggage to a house miles from the city center. We weren't refunded.

This hostel is run by a family, but the only staff we met were two old ladies (other one being the Pink Lady). They only spoke french, but were very friendly and eager to help. The room we stayed in was actually an apartment with three people living in the living room -area.There was a little kitchen, but it was really dirty and the stove didn't work well. Bathroom was dirty too, and the drain in the shower didn't work, so the shower filled up with water with every use. Great location though.

DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOSTEL! I never had a worse hostel experience, it didn't have anything that you expect from a hostel, i dont get why it's even allowed to be called a hostel! tit was just disgusting! Not clean at all, only cold water in the shower, no common room, no security lockers. the only good thing was that Nice is such a nice city so i got to spend more time outside

kitchenette in the dorm - hot plate, pots, sink and even a fridge, was very very happy about this. Was met by two lovely ladies when I arrived that brought me straight to my room. Walk out the door and can walk the main street direct to the beach, 1 min to the train and buses, or can get the tram anywhere - which is the closest. don't expect chandeliers or red carpets, but this place did go past the 'get what you pay for', clean, kitchen in dorm, very cheap restaraunt downstairs ;)

This is a place for real travellers. If your looking to meet great people, and share in culture, language & experiences more than anything else, you will be happy here. 'the pink lady' looked after me well regardless of langauge barrier, always making effort to understand & help, Cheap Communal living at its best. No fancy curtians or linen, comfortable and warm with a kitchen and bathroom in each room, also Very close to the train station, and super easy to find.
