Very nice hostel. Looks like it was renovated not so long ago, so everything is more or less new.

I have been in a lot of hostels at many countries and "Fire Fighter" is the best in my opinion.

Никога няма да отида там отново. Nunca mais vou dormir de novo lá. Това е домашен хостел.

The hostel is not in a central location but Riga's old town is easily reachable with public trasportations. The rooms are really big and well furnished. It is the ideal hostel if you have the car cause there's free parking.

By tram is not that far from the city center, like 6 stops, but the zone in general felt unsafe.

Everything is good, only the location is far from the centre.but tram 7 make it easier to arrive.

The hostel was very cheap and in reasonable distance from old town (about 15 min with tram). The neighbourhood is not the best but if you travel as a group it's not a problem. We got rooms in a dorm with an own kitchenette and a micro toilet with shower, so it was actually pretty good for the price. Only downside was that there was other room that could only be accessed throuh our room, so the 4 person dorm was actually more a 7 person dorm. But again for the price, nothing to complain about.

The only downside to this hostel is it's location. It was about a 20 minute walk from the bus station (or 5 minutes on Tram #7). Reading reviews about the dangerousness of the suburb worried me at first, but it really wasn't bad at all, it's charming! The best thing about the hostel was the owner, he seemed to be a generous guy and really helpful. The rooms were uber-clean and had lockers. The kitchen was also nice. The common room upstairs was a little small, but still a nice place to chill.

If there is sink in the toilet, it would be great.
