I was with my 14 year old daughter and the disco downstairs went onto 3 clock in the morning it was a shame the noise levels are so loud that it is impossible to sleep

NOISY. I was warned about it through countless other reviews but I went anyway because of the proximity to the city center. Other than the ruckus it was fine, just get earplugs. The kitchen is well equipped and the terrace is nice. Beds weren't very cosy, no other blanket except for a sheet.

A bit run down but full of character, the type of place I like! Amazing location in the hearth of old Palermo. Very noisy at night for the presence of various pubs and clubs down the road. Staff very nice. Rooms quite ugly - but the beds are clean.

This is a good hostel with everything you look for - nice kitchen, decent rooms and a great roof terrace. It is bloody noisy mind you - like sleeping in a night-club at times, but still worth it for a short stay.

Not bad, yeah ok it's noisy but harden up. The roof terrace can be a lot of fun with beers and cards and the right mix of people.

The hostel was great... no problems at all. I think your directions from the central station could be clearer... It was not that easy to find via Maqueda! The best part is the kitchen!

Like a regular youth hostel, nothing fancy, but cosy at the same time

Nice old building, but no air conditioning or vans and quite loud in the evenings as it is in a street with pubs/discotheques.

The place has a very nice terrace and a big clean kitchen. The hostel is very central but for who wants to rest a little it is impossible because it is located in a very noisy street.

Nice hotel with beautiful terase, the only problem can be the famous via Candalei. It´s a street full of bars and the worst the Karaoke club. In case you don´t mind italian songs and do you want to meet nice people who don´t wanna sleep during the night. It is just place for you. Kitchen is well equipped and big enough for all the guests. Hostel is very close to Stazione centrale ( 10 min. by bus). So...what else the backpackers needs? :)
