The photos are not accurrate, at least they are old. The real place seems a lot darker and has some strange vibe. The halls from the hostel are very old, and dirty. The rooms are big, but a bit scary and uncosy. The bathrooms are filthy, I wouldnt recommend it to no one. The staff was a bit helpfull and helped me book somewhere else. I DONT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. It seems to me that with little effort (cleaning the toilets, panting and refurnish) they could have a much nicer place.

Been there several times. Interesting location. Bedrooms appear to be clean. Bathroom, showers and facilities are quite a mess. Became even worse the last years. You could be afraid of getting ill somehow.

Location's alright: it is right on the tram line and as it is, not so far from the Old Town, 10 minutes by foot, tops. But there aren't many restaurants in the area. Don't know if they recently renovated but the facilities were totally decent and clean, not at all like what others have decried it to be. Security is decent, though the lockers provided in the rooms aren't big enough to fit a bag in, fyi. Music from the club downstairs do penetrate the floors and walls though.

The nice and helpful staff is pretty much the only good thing about this hostel. Public toilet at Brno train station has to be a lot of cleaner than in the hostel. I slept on an old, uncomfortable mattress and the whole night I was afraid of getting bed bugs. This hostel shares the same building with pub so it might be a noisy place. I stayed in different European hostels but this definitely was the worse-dirty and expensive.
