Booked a female dorm, but ended up in a mixed dorm... Wasn't enough toilets and showers. Didn't get a key to the room, and you needed to have brought your own padlock for the lockers. Was easy to get to though using the metro.

Comparing with the price, noting to complain....one more thing about the breakfast, it could hardly be called as "breakfast".... Way more too far away from the city center.

Upon check in we were asked what time we would prefer breakfast. The next morning he brought us breakfast in bed at our chosen time, staff was very friendly!

Nothing special, but not bad. No facilities besides your bed, but then again what else does one actually need. About a 25 min walk into the heart of the Milan, which if nice is very enjoyable, and located right near the Metro and bus stop. If youre looking for a cheap place in Milan (has free breakfast and wifi) then definitely consider this as a possibility.

They turned the heat off in the middle of the night in January when it was 3 degrees outside to the point were it was impossible to sleep. The whole place was frigid. everyone slept in coats, scarves, and thermal underwear under pajamas. The wifi was also broken when we arrived. They promised it would be fixed within an hour but it took over a day. However, it was clean and safe. To get to to the city center it's about 7 minutes walk to the metro and about 13 minutes (9 stops) after that.

Wifi effective only when you sit right next to the owner. There were several toilets, but when the owner cleaned one of them, it meant none of them was available. The owner was pretty mad when I needed to use the toilet. I understand he loved the toilet clean, but it's not very reasonable to get mad and said "i can't believe this" when I was only using it for 30 sec. What is the point that you're not understanding? That one couldn't wait for 2 hours when the need arose?

Clean bathrooms, quite far off from the centre, not very cheap, probably because it's in Milan.

A very simple hostel. It isn't near from the main touristical points of Milan, but it's near from a metro station.

we spent at least half an hour to find the hotel. The bathroom was not clean and the hot water was not satisfying. The most unbearable one was that the heating system did not have any effect. All the four people feel freezing and could not sleep well.

Great little hostel/ 1 star hotel. Simple, clean, comfortable, but definitely no-frills. The staff were exemplary, helpful, thoughtful and hard working. The place was cleaned daily. Coffee out of the machine was only 50 Euro cents! Cheapest out of 12-odd hostels I've stayed in recently around Europe. Also has a vending machine with drinks and snacks (bottled water only 60 Euro cents!). Would stay again due to its cleanliness and quietness, however we did miss not having a common area or kitchen.
