This hostel is complete: clean, cheap, modern, secure, with a beautiful bar (with many kind of beer) and free and fast wifi connection. The location is not very central, but you can reach the city center in 15 minutes walk.

Really really nice place. Have a bar that is hopping at night. It is not exactly in the center of town, but the walk there is beautiful and worth it! I would definitely stay here again.

Mad decent. Awesome place, clean rooms and cool hangout area. Staff is all nice and the vibe is waaay more local than most backpacker spots.

It was a very nice hostel to stay. The only negative point is that it is a little bit far away from the center of the city center, 20 min walk. But the hostel was really new and there were good beds!

Friendly, approachable staff were very helpful and explained a bit about local area. The bar area has a great atmosphere. The rooms/facilities are spotless. If I come back to Lille I will definitely be staying here again!

A very new and well run hostel. I don't think there are many choices for backpackers in Lille but this place more than makes up for it. It's located in vieux Lille may about 20 - 25 minutes walk from the Lille train stations - maybe too far for some. Very clean, friendly and helpful staff. There is a lively bar at reception that sells a few of the local beers. Very much recommended and if I'm in the area again, I'd certainly stay here again.

Wonderful hostel. It's attached to a bar so avoid if that bothers you, but even staying there on a Saturday night with the bar packed (and with locals too, not just people sleeping there), and in a room near the front, I didn't experience any noise issues in my room. I also felt my stuff was secure as the rooms and bar are well separated with keycard access. The beds are nice with individual privacy curtains.

I Arrived at gastama alone on a trip for an instructor conference. The lovely friendly girl on the desk informed me that there were two other people there for the conference. (this made the difference of me spending my trip alone or with new friends). The hostel was clean and modern. I booked a 4bed dorm and had it to myself! On the last day I was able to leave my luggage in the storage locker under my bed after checkout time which was incredibly helpful! Great place! Would definately return!

This is a great hostel - if u wanna have fun for a couple of days. there is a bar right in the hostel where is always a lot going on ... its not far to the train or city-center about 20 minutes walk but its a nice, beautiful area. i would recommend this hostel. i would stay there anytime again

The hostel is great, everything is brand new and modern, the kitchen and the rooms are very well equipped, the staff is incredibly helpful and friendly. Loved the bar. Definitely worth the price, I would recommend it to everyone.

Everything was awesome, it was a pleasant experience. The staff were particularly and helpful. Little things like free wifi and leaving the left over bread from breakfast out for people in the kitchen.

A good place to stay but a little far from the centre; really nice rooms and bathrooms, the bar was very cool too!

The hostel was so cool - there was a real hostel- atmosphere!!! The only drawback was that out room had a Window towards the courtyard- the courtyard is open till the bar closes- and there is a LOT of noise from there.
