Hostel Giraffe Reviews

Some staff (owner, a night shift girl... I forgot names. Sorry!) was very friendly, but some not. It wasn't the best season to visit, but if there're more people, it would be better to stay there. Next time I'll be there in summer. =))) I'm satisfied. =)))

Excellent place to stay. Perfect location . The staff was very helpful and provided for relaxed atmosphere. In addition, the rooms were kept very clean. The Hostel got everything what you need : great bar, internet, laundry. It was a very positive experience :) exceeded our expectations, for the price paid, and we would definitely stay there again .

This hostel needs to get more power, hot water and not SMELL so bad. But there is a lovely specimen of a polak working at the front desk.

The Hostel is ok. The morning staff (a girl) is lovely. But the problem is de noise at night. There is a bar (somedays is a disco) inside de hostel, if there is a party is horrible because you can't sleep. The night staff do nothing El hostal está bien. El personal de la mañana (una chica) es encantadora. Pero el problema es el ruido por la noche. Hay un bar (algunos días discoteca) dentro del hostal. Si hay una fiesta es horrible porque no puedes dormir. El personal de la noche no hace nada

Hostel Giraffe was the best...although I stayed there during Christmas and there were only a few other people in the hostel, the staff went above and beyond to give us the best Christmas experience! I will only stay at the Hostel Giraffe when I return to Krakow.

Best hostel I have stayed .So much fun and great location.The staff were superb! Bar onsite open till late :) . Nice and clean.Great value for money, would definately go back. It was perfect!

This hostel was nicely located about 10 mins from the Old Town. It lacked a bit of character and fun but that was probably because it was low season and not very busy. The hostel was generally clean but the bathrooms and showers were a bit mouldy and some of the toilets didn't work. The staff were very friendly and helpful though. There was only one computer to access the internet (and often it seemed dominated by one person for hours at a time) but there was free wi-fi.

Warm welcome, very helpfull staff, nice showers, bar, internet, tv, kitchen, ... This hostel has its all. I had a great time and would definitly go back here and recommand it. The only negative point was the noise at night: didn't sleep to well because of noisy groups. But that's not really the hostel's fault. All in all i give this hostel a good 9/10!! Thanks for the stay!

One of the best places I have ever been to. Room was clean, staff is very helpful and there is a free Playstation and a Bar onsite! Location in the old city is great as all big clubs and bars are in walking distance. Big thanks you to the girl from reception for advice on museums.

Great hostel. We had the double private which was great but we even saw that the shared dorms were spacious and clean. Great location could walk everywhere. Wish we had of spent longer in Krakow though! Definately recommened this hostel for travellers coming to Krakow

it's situated outside the Planty but still in walking distance from the city center. There's money changer and ATM nearby. The staff is very helpfull to book trips and friendly. The beds are clean, free wifi, very reasonable price, and very modest breakfast. Don't forget to hangout in the bar or the living room too. it's definitely recommended!

Great hostel. Nice and well located to the old city.

Great hostel overall!!! Rooms very spacious, bedding great, lockers secure! Laundry service was also efficient. Free breakfast was great, free tea and coffee ALL day. The kitchen was also very well equipped. Hostel bar was good value with tasty cocktail of the day and not to forget the free welcome shots! Really great hostel, superb value for money!
