Brilliant hostel! Very friendly staff and a great location to enjoy krakow

Two recommandations : there should be more hair dryers, (two or three is enough) and more plugs in the room. You could invest in some plug-multiplyers for example.

Nice stuff, nice clean room, self service breakfast, good location cca. 5-10 min by foot to center and train station. We really liked the stay at this hostel.

Welcoming and nice hostel in all aspects! 5 min from Old City and Main Railway Station Friendly and very helpfull english speaking stuff _)) During breackfast was playing relaxing music _)

the hostel was not like a hostel, it was a hotel!! everwhere was clean, persons are so kindfull, they always helped us, the breakfast was delicious, welcome shot is perfect!!!! I love gifarre hostel!

Hostel was brilliant value for money. Staff were brilliant; our time was spent mostly with the owner's Magda and Yarko who were very helpful, chatty and friendly and made us feel very welcome. We went for a stag weekend March and stayed in a 10 room dorm which had bunkbeds. The beds were comfortable and the room was big enough for us and were clean too. The other facilites i.e toilets and bar etc were all good too, I had no problems with them given the price of the stay.

You couldn't ask for a better location or atmosphere with this hostel. It truly lives up to its name as all the decor from the walls to the bedding is giraffe themed. I had a warm welcoming after a long 10 hour train ride. I found almost all the staff extremely friendly and helpful minus the night time receptionist who was rather unapproachable to say the least. The place needs more toilets for the amount of people at the hostel. Cleanliness was good but rooms need soundproofing! great hostel!

Very friendly people. The only thing we didn't like is that the shower only had cold water the first 2-3 days.

probably one of the best hostels I've ever stayed in .The location couldn't be better - 2 steps from the the Old Town and 15 minutes from railway and bus station. The atmosphere is really great, people on the reception are extremely friendly 24 h :) . Bar onsite :D , lockers in the room, free internet, enough bathrooms and WCs, everything is clean. If you come to Krakow - stay in this hostel, you definitely won't regret it. I had an awesome time here again !

Some staff (owner, a night shift girl... I forgot names. Sorry!) was very friendly, but some not. It wasn't the best season to visit, but if there're more people, it would be better to stay there. Next time I'll be there in summer. =))) I'm satisfied. =)))

Excellent place to stay. Perfect location . The staff was very helpful and provided for relaxed atmosphere. In addition, the rooms were kept very clean. The Hostel got everything what you need : great bar, internet, laundry. It was a very positive experience :) exceeded our expectations, for the price paid, and we would definitely stay there again .

This hostel needs to get more power, hot water and not SMELL so bad. But there is a lovely specimen of a polak working at the front desk.

The Hostel is ok. The morning staff (a girl) is lovely. But the problem is de noise at night. There is a bar (somedays is a disco) inside de hostel, if there is a party is horrible because you can't sleep. The night staff do nothing El hostal está bien. El personal de la mañana (una chica) es encantadora. Pero el problema es el ruido por la noche. Hay un bar (algunos días discoteca) dentro del hostal. Si hay una fiesta es horrible porque no puedes dormir. El personal de la noche no hace nada

Hostel Giraffe was the best...although I stayed there during Christmas and there were only a few other people in the hostel, the staff went above and beyond to give us the best Christmas experience! I will only stay at the Hostel Giraffe when I return to Krakow.

Best hostel I have stayed .So much fun and great location.The staff were superb! Bar onsite open till late :) . Nice and clean.Great value for money, would definately go back. It was perfect!
