A perfectly located Hostel about 5 minutes from Barbakan and the Florian's Gate. It's a perfect location for a trip to Krakow you can access the main points of the City without a long commute. IT is a very clean and friendly place. The staff is really helpful and you can meet a variety of people from all over the world there. We would definitely recommend Hostel Girtaffe to anybody coming to Krakow.

We spent two nights in a private room. Our room was very noisy, the walls amplify every single sound, could hear if someone puts a fork on the table in the kitchen. With the bar full on drunk people we couldn’t rest at all, it was like we are sleeping inside the bar. The hostel has its own bar which accepts people from the street. The hostel has only two toilets which are usually used by the bar’s guests. Got shocked when my boyfriend heared that one drunk guest is pissing in one of the showers

Really nice hostel with an incredible atmosphere and a lovely staff. Excellent common facilities and very near the city centre, only 5 minute walk.

It is not clear when making a booking about the check-in time, because there is a drop-down box, from which you can choose at which time you are arriving. I chose the time 11:00, but the check in time was 12:00. Al least I had to wait until the room is cleaned and prepared only one hour, but this is confusing.

I had an excelent experience there ;) Me and my boyfriend had a private room and it was really cheap. It is also close to the old town and the service is more than great!

Location was not bad. I found the dorm room and bathrooms quiet messy and very unhygienic. The staff were not very friendly (but one girl) and one of the male staff members in particular was quiet rude just in general about any questions that where asked.

The hostel was a great place! Upon arrival, the staff were very friendly and told me lots of information about the hostel and what there is to do in Krakow. The kitchen was well stocked and clean. The beds were great! I loved the giraffe theme! Every staff member I met was lovely and very helpful! The receptionist, Kinga was especially nice! For me it was the perfect price and location.

Just two blocks away from the Old Town's center and located in a nice old street, the hostel is super easy to find. The twin bedroom was super cozy and neat and all the staff was amazing was us! They have a lot of flyers and information on good restaurants, pubs, tours, cafés and more; and they are really kind and willing to advice you on good stuff always. Everything was super clean and breakfast was a good surprise :) I highly recommend this hostel to anyone traveling to Krakow.

Not a bad hostel, very spacious and a good location. The breakfast was very low quality though, the coffee was undrinkable. I've stayed at better hostels in Krakow.

Very clean, everything in good condition, brilliant location for the city centre and local/regional transport, airport connections, etc, good wifi connection. The laundry service they provide is brilliant value (15zl and washed and dried within 24hrs - and often this means within 5hrs!). Staff were really friendly, helpful and spoke good English. Little communal kitchen was kept very clean, tidy and well stocked with tea and coffee. I'd definitely stay here again!
