Hostel Glide Reviews

A bit hard to find initially. Not in the centre of town but very close to the end of the Metro line. The dog is a work in progress (still in training). :-)

A very pleasant hostel in the suburbs of Yerevan. The host, Anna, is a very sweet and helpful person, she can help with anything you might need during your stay. The breakfast is also very nice and filling. On the downside, the bed in the room I stayed was not so comfortable and it is not very centrally located, although this is not a problem, since with the metro it is just 10 minutes away. All and all, a very good experience.

We had a great stay at this hostel. The family running the place is very friendly and very helpful. It's close to the metro station and you can easily get to all city attractions. Breakfast was always very tasty and was a good way to communicate with other tourists. We listened to nice Armenian music and played with their cute Labrador puppy. It was a great place and very very nice people!! Definitely recommend!

i really enjoyed my staying at the hostel, it was really very warm atmosphere. I booked only one night, but then stayed 2 nights more, i met really nice people there! And the staff was very helpful, available anytime, they also helped me to organize my stay in the North. I will definitely recommend this hostel, and hope to come back here again!!!

Nice hostel with very friendly staff. They helped us to find accomodation for our last 2 night in Armenia despite they were full. Thanks a lot once again!!!

Hostel is conveniently next to a metro line station, with a quick and cheap run into the centre. Amazingly warm hosts, extremely helpful with direction and sightseeing advice inside and outside of Yerevan. Add to this the lovely breakfast and free use of a computer, and it feels more like a homestay. Would stay here again.

Genuine Armenian hospitality and great location right next to the metro and few meters from a traditional Armenian market with fruits, bread and so on. If you stay in Yerevan i recommend the Glide Hostel.

I really enjoyed my stay here ,it is probably the best hostel i have ever stayed at .I arrived early but i was allowed to relax and have a much needed shower until my room was ready for check-in .The hostel was very clean and i appreciated the hearty breakfast ready for me everyday ,along with the friendliness and hospitality of the mother and daughter who run the hostel .Wi-Fi works great ,and the laundry service is excellent too .

Amazing place! The hosts are the most hospitable, open and helpful people I have ever met. The place is very tidy, the breakfasts are delicious and there even is a Labrador puppy to play with. For me it's 10/10 is every category. Thank you Anna for the great time I had in your hostel!

Amazing hostel, just three metro stations from the center of the city. Rooms are nice and clean. Excellent breakfast is included in the price. Very welcoming and extremely helpful staff speaks great English. Highly recommended!

First and foremost Anna and her mother were extremely welcoming and helpful, cooked up a great breakfast each morning. Anna was especially helpful in giving thorough directions on how to get anywhere in the city and out of the city. The mother is a gem as well, always smiling and sharing stories. The place itself is very comfortable, beds a little rickety but what you would expect, location is nice as it is in a neighborhood with good restaurants and 15-20 min walk, or 5 min metro to center.

Very nice place, fine location and very helpful and friendly staff. The only downside was the fact that the room was very hot.

A very nice stay in this new, clean, and very friendly hostel. Anna and her brother have excellent tips on what to do and where to go in Tbilissi and Armenia which was very helpful. The hostel is near a metro station and the the breakfast was a lovely time to exchange and talk with the family and the other guests.

Wonderful place run by an even more wonderful family. They are so nice I can't wait to go back!!
